I love all of you on mfp! I read the diet first and thought hmmm...could I do that? Then I read all of the comments saying how crazy it is, which I know, but 18 pounds in 9 days sounds good :) Thanks for keeping it real!!

Nice list! Thanks for sharing :)

That totally made me want to go make some cookies :)

I peeked at your diary and this is totally picking...I would probably skip on the soup since it is so filling and full of sodium, that way it may be a little easier to add a couple good fats to up those calories :) feel free to add me as a friend!!

I hear you!!! I am in the same boat! It is very hard to stay motivated when you are not seeing results. I figure if I am not losing very much weight, I am at least becoming healthier :) Add friends!!!! I cannot stress this enough! It really helps you stay on track...I find myself checking in on mfp more often than facebook…

I've seen Luna bars at target but haven't tried them. I have not heard of Lara bars though

I walked into the locker room once and there was a girl talking to two other women while she was repeatedly rubbing lotion all up and down her entire naked body...I agree, there should be some modesty envolved lol! It happens in the guys room too though...my 12 year old son came with me to the gym this one time and he came…

1400 isn't too high...slow and steady wins the race :) but my brother told me once when he was trying to lose weight that everytime he went to eat something "bad" that he would reach down and grab a roll of fat on his stomach and it would keep him from eating it lol!
-
I think it would take A LOT of protein to be too much...my weight loss coach suggest that I get at the very minimum 60 and encourages more, she is very happy if I hit 80-90

It should tell you when you register...but I would aim for around 1300-1500...if you haven't really been watching what you eat, then this is more than likely less than what you are normally eating and should give you a loss. Once you start losing and if you hit a plateau then you will have some room to lower your daily…

Dont be too hard on yourself! You logged everything, that is positive right there! I will add you as a friend, I think that makes a huge difference when you can see what others are eating to make the most of their calories :)

You need friends on MFP to look at your journal every day! I will add you as a friend :)
-
Thanks for all of the input! She is seeing a dr weekly and getting B6 & B1 injections... I feel like I have made a big lifestyle change...but I know there is more that I can do, I just have to be 100 % honest and real with myself!

a good friend of mine started it the other day, I think today was day 3 for her... I worry about gaining weight back after such a strict diet! Good luck to you though!

Personally, I was afraid to run while pregnant...or do anything too high cardio...I just kept thinking about shaken baby syndrome or the placenta abrupting or something...I know that they say it is all safe if you have been doing it and they have a lot of cushioning in there but better safe than sorry :) I do also worry…

If I've learned one thing...everyone has their own issues! I have heard to gain weight one thing that is helpful is to have milkshakes a couple of times a day :) (how I could dream lol) I would assume that you should load up on carbs...healthy ones of course...Good luck to you!
-
My guess is that you are not noticing because you see yourself everyday :) I also read on your other post that you are only 5'1"...me too and unfortunately I think it takes more lbs to notice a loss and not too many to notice a gain for us short people :) My nutritionist/fitness coach says that it is 80-90 % about what you…

butter and salt :) Once I started eating brown rice and wheat/whole grain pasta...I found that I started liking them better than the white rice/pastas

I too was looking for a way to like oatmeal and a friend gave me her recipe...I eat it every day either for breakfast or lunch and love it! 1/2 c old fashioned oats ( I like to use the 1 minute kind or the reg and just blend it a bit first for a better consistency) 1 c skim milk cook in saucepan for about 10 minutes until…

Dont know much about it, but one of my mfp friends had a shakeology on their food diary, so I googled it and I dont' think it's meant to be for every meal but a one meal replacement. It seems to full of vitamins and nutrients. The website is www.myshakeology.com if you want to check it out!

Go with protein to keep you fuller longer...4 egg whites on a whole wheat english muffin would be a great idea. I usually eat oatmeal in the morning and have found that when I eat the quaker old fashioned oats and make it the skim milk it is much more filling :) Good luck!

Love to cut up a banana and stick it in the freezer for about 10 minutes and drizzle a little Reeses Shell ice cream topping on it...super yummy! The reeses shell is 210 calories for 2 tablespoons, but that it A LOT you really only need about 2 teaspoons :)
-
I tried several different recipes trying to find one that would get me to like oatmeal...I finally found one and have it almost every day :) I don't really like the consistency of oatmeal so I blend 1/2 cup of Old Fashioned Oats in my Magic Bullet for a second or two first... In a sauce pan I add 1 cup skim milk with the…

I do actually do the 3 sets on each machine, I just keep going to different machines until I hit the 15 mins...I feel like if I didn't set some kind of time I would just be lazy and leave lol!

Starting again is better than quitting! Stick with it, you can do it!! :)
