If it was only 10,000 then at most you only permanently gained a little under 3 lbs.
-
How's that?

Why raw food?

Try eating it with a ton of veggies... :explode:
-
Not really. I knew Easter was coming.... its been on the calendar for months  so I ate a deficit for several days last week.:flowerforyou: I did eat a ton of crap I typically wouldn't eat but it was guilt-free and delicious!:drinker:
-
I eat a ton of meat at lunch. My Clif bars have a ton of protein and one scoop of powder a day.
-
Yes. If you are hungry then eat them guilt free. I wouldn't, however, force yourself to eat them back if you are satiated. Let your body tell you what to eat. Or you can go about it a completely different way and not use MFP's settings and calc your TDEE for your activity level and eat 20% less.
-
My protein is set at 104.... I'm 125 lbs. It's 30% of my 1380cal diet. It is a good amount for me because I depend on protein for filling me up at lunch.
-
You also missed bacon :noway: and cookies and ice cream for the matter :glasses:
-
Why you hating on steak, man? What's wrong with oats? You are missing ton in the seafood category: shrimp, clams, halibut, tialpia, steelhead, seabass, crab, etc.

You're lack of reading comprehension means that I am a poor writer?    You misread. Own it. Don't be a **** about it. Maybe you're the exception to the stupid rule?

I didn't read all the replies.... so if someone else answered this more intelligently than me.... ignore this The idea that you'll gain it back isn't because carbs will make you gain weight... it because usually once a diet fails (any diet) the dieter is most likely going to rebel and eat too much to make up for the…

My go-to favorites: Meaty Monday: Steak, veggies and rice Taco Tuesday: Tacos and salad Wacky Wednesday: I let the kids choose whatever they want - ham sandwiches, meatballs and pasta, pork roast and cinnamon apples, broccoli and beef, bacon wrapped chicken, Thoughtless Thursday: Crockpot dinner of some sort - pulled…

Suggestion as a reformed 1200-er. Switch up your days. So decide your weekly calories and eat 1200 on one day then 1500 on another and then 1300 etc. For me this worked well because it adjusted with my daily cravings and exercise goals. For example: I know that I will on average eat 300-500cal more per day on the weekend…

If you open your diary then you will get better advice...

Make it. Cut it up into reasonable servings. freeze the individuals and plan it into your day once in awhile.... why deny?

I would agree with you in almost any other thread.... this was obviously a light-hearted, for funsies thread that was hijacked by pretentious comments intentionally designed to start debate. In the words of my 7 year old: "HE STARTED IT!!!!"
-
Now we have someone trying to push herbology on a pop-tart thread :noway: totally uncalled for. (The herb known as Paeonia, in particular the root of P. lactiflora (Bai Shao, Radix Paeoniae Lactiflorae), has been used frequently in traditional medicines of Korea, China and Japan. Research suggests that constituents…

dude do you have google alert for orthorexia on this site.... its like you are magnetized to the word.

    I almost feel bad for you .... but you're not new so you should know better. You had to have known that a pop-tart post by mag would lead you sugar laden food porn and the glorification of toaster pastries.
-
I know.

me too. It is a "suggested serving size" for a reason.
-
no but you can say 120 x 2.5 = 300 really... we all have calculators on our phones and that can be done in your head.
-
I think you misread what I wrote. I said I can NOT accept that obesity is the result of stupidity. You hit my point home with the bolded portion above. I completely agree with you. (See underline)

I think I threw up in my mouth a little Worst choice ever.... Raspberry pop tarts are the way

I don't think anyone is disagreeing that the food companies are manipulating serving sizes to make their product appear healthier than it is... I simply don't buy that America is so stupid that they fall for it. And you can eat however much you like as long as it fits your calories for the day. If you don't get enough food…

You really think that the general public is that freaking stupid??? Reddy and I discussed this yesterday and he brought up a good point.... taking the time to count the calories is half the battle. I highly doubt the average person is so absent minded and/or mentally delayed that they don't read the line right below the…

I can't accept that people are fat because they are too stupid to read a label. If I'm not going to blame the person then I will blame the quick-fix industry of weight loss. At least with the latter the truth isn't on the box.
