Woooow, people can be ridiculous. He is obviously one of those people that's "never wrong." Good thing you didn't get bit and the dog didn't get hit!

No, he's the one being very unreasonable. To be so controlling over something like that isn't good-- it's not like he's doing it for the benefit of your health (i.e., you're obese with high cholesterol, diabetes, etc.). Also, in my opinion, his eating habits aren't healthy Know your worth, beautiful! If you want to lose…

I find myself kind of drifting towards vegetarian. I just had meat today for the first time in 2 weeks and my stomach is not happy!! I feel better when I don't eat meat...I wouldn't consider myself a vegetarian though because if I ever do get the craving for meat (which has pretty much gone away) I'll eat it.

@jmac...yeah, you definitely look a lot younger!

Your goal is definitely doable by November...make sure you stay consistent, that's truly the key. About the calories-- I would have more than 1,200 or at least eat a majority of your exercise calories back. You will find the sweet spot by trial and error.

He's always so sweet and does everything for me (voluntarily!). He also supports all of my decisions and if he thinks a decision I'm going to make/already made isn't good, he will tell me and give me his idea on what would be best (without being negative). He has made me a better person-- definitely.

I'm for a free day! Every Saturday is my cheat day

Eat a larger portion of your foods from vegetables, then fruits, then whole grains. Stay away from processed vegetarian stuff-- like the fake "meat." It's also quite possible that the weight gain came back when you started eating carbohydrates again (that why the Atkins diet usually isn't good for long term, it's not…

Dalek--haha, yes! I totally agree with the duckface, too. I don't see that too much anymore though

I wish I had some examples to post here...like Justin Bieber, he always has wrinkles in his forehead from raising his eyebrows. My younger cousins do it and her friends too. I'm just wondering if I'm the only one that thinks it's weird. lol

That's pretty dang good

That's awesome! I'll be excited when that day comes for me too. I always like to hear someone mention how they've noticed something good I've done. Really, good for you! Don't thank us for reading, thank YOU for posting:smile:

Totally AGREE

Good for you for learning all of that. Thank you for posting your tips up here. One thing, soy isn't good for you (do more research on that [keywords: mucus and estrogen]) and coconut and dark chocolate are good for you! Like someone said above, there is controversy over "which diet is best, which foods to eat and which to…

Fresh produce. Look up the "Clean 15" and "Dirty Dozen" to find which produce is strongly recommended to buy organic. Whole wheat (look at the ingredients, the less ingredients the better), sprouted wheat, raw nuts/seeds (if you can get those sprouted too)....learn what you're eating. The first place you should look is the…

Be careful of the whole "0 calorie" claim... There's a TON of calories in the spray-- it's definitely not 0 calories; soybean oil, sweet cream buttermilk are some of the ingredients. Those ingredients have a good amount of calories. The reason why they are able to say it's 0 calories because a serving is 0.2g. TRICKY

Find someone in there who knows what they're doing and ask for help...ask for advice on proper form...maybe you might get a good workout buddy/mentor out of it!

My husband and I recently started getting treatments for problems with pain and it works for the both of us. At first I was skeptical, but I'm surprised how well it works. I think who you select as your acupuncturist is very important and I'm sure it plays a part on if your treatment is successful or not. I don't know if…

I have the same problem. We burn more calories the week before, so that's why we are more hungry-- sometimes I cave to the cravings and sometimes I don't; but, like someone mentioned, it's mind over matter.

popchips- sweet potato

dark chocolate? (~85% cocoa)

Workout when you wake up, not after work (so you're not as tired). I was the same way, I would quit because I was so disappointed in myself (which, in reality, doesn't make sense to quit). The reason why your back hurts and you can only run 3 laps is because you aren't used to it-- before your body has a chance to get used…

You look fantastic! Awesome commitment!
