Interesting choices - I think I might wishlist those for next time around, just in case ;)

This course is scheduled in September, and while it's not "Food and Nutrition" it's definitely a health issue. If you have any questions or concerns about vaccines, please take the time to check this one out too. https://www.coursera.org/course/vaccines Paul A. Offit, MD This course will discuss issues regarding vaccines…

Speed does come into it; but in the "calories per hour" number. You run faster, you get more miles in per hour, and more calories (to a point... apparently there's a leveling after 6mph if I understand the runners)
-
Pretty much 100 calories per mile, regardless of the speed at which you go. That's assuming level ground.

Same reason ketones and green coffee bean extracts or popular? People will believe anything?

Honestly, since I started going to gym in the morning and getting 30-45 minutes of good cardio in, I haven't been as tired during the day. It seems to defy logic; I get up 60-90 minutes EARLIER and feel better, often skipping coffee until later in the day. It's crazy.

Borg rate? Something about how fast you assimilate oxygen, I assume. Interesting links, surely nothing at all to do with Star Trek, though.
-
I don't understand the question - this IS everyday life now.

I do a fair amount of food dissection... I weigh food at home, so I have a pretty good idea of what 100g of chicken looks like, etc. Log the parts of the food that can be identified, and add a tablespoon of butter or oil here and there. That, or don't eat their food.

I signed up for MFP, bought gym clothes and running shoes in an effort to be supportive of my wife's unintentional weightloss with her pregnancy. I told her I was going to beat her weightloss, and this wasn't a competition that she should be actively participating in... If you know what hyperemesis gravidarum is, it's well…

I picked up this cheap chopper (not at WalMart, but this is the first link that came up) for about $30... made awesome taboulleh and salsa that day. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Ninja-Express-Chopper/16913480
-
If it's salsa in a jar, it's going to have significant sodium. Consider getting a little electric chopper, a pound of tomatoes, some chillis, peppers, onions and cilantro. Five minutes, no added sodium.

I'm no doctor, but have you considered adding cardio? Of course, you might have to add calories at that point...
-
OR they all have tips about what they heard Dr. Oz say... and they have a friend who swears by green coffee pills... Who needs to have that conversation in real life?
-
If you want to fit in, there's NOTHING WRONG with having a slice of pizza. Are you going to avoid pizza forever in the future? Maybe skip the chips, but your hypothetical people are right - one slice won't kill you. Get a veggie or mushroom slice and it doesn't have to be the greasy filled calorie bomb. Go for an extra 30…

May as well give up. Cookies mean your diet is over, and there's nothing you can do about it. Have a nice glass of gravy and relax. Oh... wait... no, it doesn't mean that at all. Tomorrow's a new day.

Help prevent the deactivations - just tell new posters that they're doing exactly the right thing
-
They'd do more - they have CHOCOLATE on them.
-
' So, you're using decaffeinated green coffee bean extract? So, it really IS doing nothing at all. Look, just give your money to a charity if you have too much - you'll feel good about that too.
-
Guess which of the above some employers still use to discriminate - legal or not? Age, pregnancy are biggies.
-
You're both fired.
-
It's not illegal... until you get fired for asking for a raise. They wouldn't say it's for asking for a raise, but that "you just didn't fit in" or that you "are a disruptive person with your bad attitude" or "we've been getting complaints." You'd need to actually get fired first to try to nail them on this threat. So, go…

I'm sure it's been mentioned already... "In 1998, the U.S. National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention brought U.S. definitions into line with World Health Organization guidelines, lowering the normal/overweight cut-off from BMI 27.8 to BMI 25."…

The key is SOME. A distinct minority of people. The poster I was replying to was using the pronoun "you" when they meant "me" when they were describing how artificial sweeteners affect her. Also, why are they called "artificial sweeteners" still? They're actually[/B} sweeteners...
-
OR... trolling you with an obviously bad definition of trolling. META TROLL!
-
No they don't. No, that's untrue. Bloat you up? I think you're thinking of "too much soda" not "too much sweetener." That's kooky. Also a "too much soda / water / caffeine" thing. Drink what you want.

I can't wait to see how this turns out!

I'd like to get anyone who embraces all things natural to be denied anything unnatural should they ever end up in hospital...
