totally depends on how you feel about your surroundings and the vibe you get. I live in Johannesburg and go to the gym at 4:30am when its still dark, feel safer than I did back in Manchester, UK that's for sure..

How many calories are you eating in total? so its 1200 but then you exercise and don't eat those back?

It doesn't look like you have time after work, so could you try waking up earlier for a workout in the morning? It may also help you to fall asleep earlier too in the evenings. At least try it for a few weeks, see how you feel. :)

I would say both, if I am retaining water, my trousers are a little tighter, so I would think that's because of a few cm increase.

I'm no expert, but could it not just be water retention? I doubt you would have gained 1lb of pure fat in a week.

I don't keep any snacks in my house, and don't bring cash to work to buy from the vending machine. I find a cup of tea with sugar and milk fills me up :)

Protein shake, protein bar, cup of cottage cheese is +/- 30g of protein, cheese, eggs, obviously meat and fish.
