yes, some mirrors are horribly unflattering, some I look at and think I'm doing ok. I just have to remember my waist size and know that I am smaller than I was.

I'm 5'4, aim to be 115lbs - which is still a healthy BMI. But it's more about body fat% for me, I'd rather be a lower body fat % at 125lbs than be a high body fat and be 115lbs..

Have you got a heart rate monitor? maybe you are really overestimating your calorie burn and also eating more than you think due to not having a food scale? could be balancing out to eating at maintenance.

Go to a personal trainer who has calipers and get your body fat measured, cheaper than a dexa scan and they know what they are doing. I go every 8 weeks.

This is mind over matter. Just control those thoughts and eat the same amount as you usually do, you will feel much better for it. When I want to binge on my period, I eat about 5 bowls of sugar free jelly, 5 bowls of that stuff is about 50 calories.

UK size 14 is fat on a short person, people just don't think it is because it's so common nowadays..and the UK average size is 16 which is even worse and has given people an excuse to be fat because, well...it's 'average'
