Almond Breeze > Silk Milk tastes like udders now. Trust me, you will not miss that taste. And almond milk is queen.

I discovered this a few months ago. Luckily I don't always eat all my calories. They really should fix this.

You're right. If she wants to she will. But diet pills are the one thing where I have no qualms about confrontation.
-
Yes, I definitely DO NOT want to be a nag.
-
Thanks for the advice. I guess all I can do is support her with whatever she wants to do. It's her life.
-
She hasn't asked. I try not to bring it up only because I know I'll start to nag. The least I've done is talk about how hard it's been for me and what I eat. I don't think she really gets it.

Muscle weighs more than fat while muscle has a smaller volume than fat. I think the point is if you're losing fat and gaining muscle you can weigh exactly the same but have a smaller waist.

I craft when I'm not at school... Random things. I made my own lip balm recently. I also upcycled an old lamp with spray paint and new fabric.

That's funny. I don't get that from stevia- I'm a fan. I get it from cilantro. Bleh. They are unrelated plants, but it's interesting that people get similar flavors from them.

I'm eating it right now! Orville 100 Calorie Kettle Corn... mmm. Btw, movie theater popcorn is indeed "oil popped". However the amount they use is incredibly too much, and then they add extra butter-flavored oil on top of it. Yum. -.-

Not bad when it's been ingrained your daily vocabulary. Hahaha

Oikos sucks! SUCKS! It is so sour and flavorless. Especially nonfat. I think most nonfat greeks taste pretty gross though. And getting 2% doesn't add much more fat or calories. MY favorite brand is Fage. Mm.. like cheese. :)

Sweet potato... six minutes in the microwave! Perfectly cooked.

LOVE this show. Love it. I don't care how dumb the host looks/sounds/acts whatever. Crazy cats and their stupid owners are the best things ever.

Thanks funny because when I'm at home I lose so much will! At school I lose the most weight and have the most willpower. At school I eat a lot of beans, peanut butter, rice, pasta, and frozen veggies... sometimes I buy lettuce if it's on sale so I can have salads. If you're wanting healthy, quick things buy frozen veggies…

But they sure are tasty. And better than a coke so I'll drink occasionally-- zero of course.

Grain salads are really good: rice/barley/etc., veggies (cooked or raw), beans, cheese, some kind of dressing... you could eat those on top of lettuce if you want to reduce the calories- Grains are calorie dense. I made a pita pocket sandwich the other day with just hummus and romaine and cheese. Simple but very tasty and…

I'm not going to say that my mom made me fat by filling my childhood mouth with food every chance she got but.... yes that's what happen. My grandmother could care less. My mom on the other hand... *grumble*

Just made a pb&j. Yummy but I'm also looking for something different. No ideas... hope you find some!

Half the calories than milk! Plus it's creamier. Also, as humans, we are the only animal who drinks other animal's milk. Baby cows should be the only animal to drink cows milk. I'm all for cheese, though, so I guess I'm a hypocrite.

It's not really "negative" but you do burn a lot of calories eating celery (and other raw non starchy veggies) because they're full of cellulose wihch is hard to digest. So you can't really "cancel" out your wings, but you can fill up on celery so you don't eat too many wings!

Read this: http://peasandthankyou.com/2011/09/21/thinking-outside-the-lunchbox-tofu-dippers/ So amazing. I cannot stop eating these. I'm convinced all you "tofu-haters" hate it because you know it's tofu. It gets a bad rap, but if you eat with an open mind (or mouth) you will LOVE IT.

GIVE IN!! Don't eat a whole cake... but allow yourself a little like some dark chocolate pieces (not milk or white chocolate). It's not going to kill you and you won't binge later on.

This came out today: http://health.yahoo.net/experts/eatthis/3-shocking-soda-facts Again, I wouldn't take it to heart but just beaware of what you're eating.

Aspertame (as with other artificial sweetners like Splenda, Equal, and SweetnLow) have been linked to cancer in lab mice as well as a change in brain chemistry. I try to stay away from them as much as possible and use Stevia to sweeten things like coffee and tea. However Stevia is often laced with other artificials like…

Since you said processed foods isn't an option (an mustard is technically processed) you could try making your own with mustard seeds. There's recipes online and I heard it's great. You could also make a roasted red pepper spread, pesto (light on the olive oil), or homemade ketchup.

As stated above.... try walmart. A friend bought me a rice cooker which I realized was from the W (after spotting it there...). It works great. Very simple. I love it.

This is a working college kids menu: Monday- Microwaved sweet potato Tuesday- dinner at work Wednesday- black bean patties (trying a new recipe) Thursday- Something quick like ramen and frozen veggies Friday- spaghetti Saturday- unknown Sunday- Cheat day because, of course, it's the Superbowl! Not as fun and planned as…

When shrimp fishermen go shrimping over 90% of what they catch (bottom-dwellers, clams, muscles, seastars, etc.) is bycatch. Meaning it's thrown overboard and dies. Eating 10% shrimp is not worth 90% death.

Best. Feeling. Ever.
