Just got shipment of Keto bars. Ate one today, filling, nicely chocolaty with coconut overtones. Not cheap though.

I got a "happy journal" for my granddaughter (3 1/2). She, and parents love it. We wrote in it last night and of course my heart soared when the first thing she said she was happy about today was that "Meme came to visit. " Made the 14 hour trip to get here seem like a breeze.

Same here (no stomach virus, but pneumonia...). It's taking a daily recommitment to stick with it, but I am. I'm also double checking everything (MFP has a lot of bad nutrition info in the database so I'm trying to barcode scan as much as I can and check that too; double checking weights/measures...) Hang in there with the…

Yes, I had some pretty severe ones about 3-4 weeks in. Added a cup of bouillon for a couple of days (with a TBSP of cream-my favorite way to drink it) and 200mg Magnesium twice a day, which I'm continuing as I'm sleeping better (? WOE or the Mg, not sure...)-no further problems.

[quote= @strawmama You know I have not eaten bacon for years, but I suppose it's good for the low carb diet, i'll put it on my shopping list! [/quote] I hadn't either (except occasional turkey bacon). JOY!! Bacon is amazing!

You are not alone. I'm 3 1/2 weeks into a stall or whatever that has me up and down about 3 pounds. I can come up with a myriad of reasons, many already mentioned, but it still can get to me. I'm pretty comfortable I'm following plan, I weigh and measure, log and pre-log, double check nutrition info on MFP (there is alot…

Grateful today for all the kind support when I shared my frustrations about stall.

Sounds like orthostatic hypotension, often related to dehydration.

Pork rinds dipped in guacamole (homemade or read the label for store bought) are great. Even my non-LC friends love them.

Unless the lab uses a different standard, 122 is barely elevated so I wouldn't worry or change anything just based on that number, especially since the doc isn't.

Great idea! I will be starting one with my granddaughter when I visit her next week!! I am happy for my health and that my family is healthy.

I think the most likely instance of drinking affecting your weight directly is of you drink several glasses then get immediately on the scale. If you have a routine...get up, pee, weigh, in general what you drink is fairly irrelevant, IMO.

Good Monday morning: IW: 167 GW: 145 CW: 162 +/-: -5 But nothing lost the past 3 1/2 weeks.

Haven't but have been looking at options to break this stall.

Thanks!

I just got mine yesterday (after only 6 1/2 weeks on keto WOE). Really pissed tho'...I had talked my doc into adding the test for LDL particle size and the lab didn't do it, marking "not indicated". Urggg. When I reviewed the results with Doc, he said "well I know you wanted it but no point getting another stick, your…

Might want to add ketoacidosis-how it is different from ketosis but how some confuse the two.
