Has the doctor released you to exercise? I ride my exercise bike and love to walk. Those would be two low impacted things to do. I know the sitting on couch thing you are going though. Great job! I just walked my first one and am going to train to walk/jog next one and hopefully run the next. Thank you this post was great motivation.

you are not stalled if you lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks. That is where you need to be. Mfp set you up to lose 1 to 2 lbs a week. Yes you will lose more at first but as long as you are losing that is a positive. I do think you need to eat more then 1200 a day.

Yes, we don't put the weight on in a day. So it is not going to come off that way either. I have lost 33 lbs, that being said I could not walk up the steps without breathing hard. My daughter told me she was worried about me....Wake up call! What I have done is start walking and as I got strong I have kept the pace going…

Generally once a week, but sometimes check it in the middle of that cycle just to see if I am on track.

I started walking 3 weeks ago. Had to start liesurely and am now up to walking about as fast as I can. But I had same problem at first . But be faithfully in your exercise and you will see improvement each day.Good luck!
