Update - this appears to be fixed now - thank you!!

Okay Support - it ain't just me! Why no response (other than to email support!) and why no fix?

2 pounds a week is doable, but it's tough. 1 and 1/2 would be easier, and that would put you at 18 pounds.

I've always been cold-natured. I don't mind it as I can always wear extra layers. HEAT is far less comfortable as there are only so many clothes you can take off!! I love the winter - love the cold. I think I am in the minority though.
-
Nah that would be sedentary unless you are doing other additional stuff during the day.
-
I don't even know what that is.

I prefer the gym as once I am there, I have no distractions. I do have some equipment at home and when I need to, I'll do stuff there, but honestly the gym works better for me.
-
It's fine.

Meh. I did that too, and it's just not as appealing. (And no way am I spending money on Zwift or Peleton.) My BF tried a trainer but he was totally bored (he gave me his trainer LOL) and decided it was not for him. He bought a Rogue air bike and loves it.

Nope. When I stop logging, I gain. I know myself well enough by now - I will have to log my food the rest of my life if I want to maintain a healthy weight.

His original starting weight. So he has lost 7 pounds since starting, but then got stuck since Nov 6, at 219.
-
"You've lost 7 pounds in a month" Is that what he is saying? It sounded to me like he was stuck AT 219, since Nov 6.

I have always estimated 1 mile at 100 calories - no matter whether I walk or run. Obviously that varies a bit from person to person, but it's what I use, and it's always seemed to work for me.

45 minutes away? Ah no. No way. I actually belong to OneLife, and have been a member since they were Gold's, and to Bally's before that. In fact I have been going regularly to a gym, for over 35 years now. (I'm 63.) It is absolutely worth the cost - I just can't imagine not going to the gym. But 45 minutes? I'd have to…

I eat eggbeaters when I eat eggs. Not every day, maybe once a week...unless we are camping and then it's bacon and eggs!

I can't stand the watches that are meant to be worn all day. I have a Polar watch for activities like running and biking, and I wear a Fitbit One on my brastrap all day for steps (I actually need it for our benefits program at work). The One is the best device I have ever had - so of course it is no longer made. >:)

My BF is 5'8' and 145 - he is very happy with where he is. I think your weight sounds good - and you look great!! Get a new doctor.

Every single morning.

Funny guy.
-
LOL!! Trust me. It's no where near. What sort of workout are you doing to burn 200 calories in 20 min?
-
Eating too much food!

"Although a caloric deficit is needed to lose fat, a caloric surplus isn't necessarily needed to build muscle. This is because stored fat is stored energy. So, those stored fat calories are available for the body to use as fuel for the muscle-building process. But get this part straight: Your body can't turn fat into…

Add me to the list of those that have never heard the term "hip dip" before. As far as I'm concerned, it's from wearing hip-hugging pants - that are too tight. Your clothes really can change the way your fat is distributed!
-
Wow. Good for you. :*
-
I never laid on the bed to put on my jeans. It's quite beyond me how some people find it comfortable to wear pants that tight. I have never understood that. I despise the stretchy jeans sold today - I want 100% cotton denim jeans. Those are the best, for me.

Thigh gaps are determined by genetics; you may as well ask how you can change the shape of your ears. You have a great shape. Enjoy that.
-
Why is this a problem for you?
-
Dunno. I can't imagine being that hungry in the morning. It's an infrequent thing for me to wake up hungry. And normally, I don't even eat until 10am. Perhaps you have just gotten yourself into a bad habit.

It always amazes me how people find their way to this forum, in trying to lose weight, but are so clueless about the body actually works. Your body wants to have a fairly constant sodium level. When you consume excess sodium (salt) your body will use water to try and dilute the sodium within the cells (why do you think you…

It's more genetics than anything, unfortunately.
