Amateurs such as the majority of the people on this forum (including myself) typically do not have to worry about over training as we do not spend 3-4 hours a day training. Professional athletes on the other hand there is definitely a fine balance between rest, nutrition and time spent training. I usually do weights for 30…

Confronting works, if someone bumps into me and they don't say excuse me, I make a point of taking my headphones off and saying it for them :) Thanks for your reply.

Doing Cardio in a gym is not fun for anyone usually. Get an Mp3 player or use your smartphone to listen to music or watch your favourite show and it will make things a lot easier. Loosing fat is more about diet then actually exercising. Have a read, I'm sure the page below with answer most of your questions:…

It seems like you are a little lost, you should definitely do more research, a good place to start for a newbie such as yourself: http://www.reddit.com/r/loseit/wiki/faq One thing you will want to do before you start an exercise program is check with your doctor to see if you are in good health before you start! Good luck.

The easiest way to drop muscle is to do more cardio, look at physique of a long distance runner. No fat, little muscle as this is the best type of build for marathon type races. Focus more on cardio then weights if you feel like you build muscle to fast or if you are not happy with physique.

I get it, I wouldn't want a guy or girl gazing at me while I was doing squats either, definitely weird. I was not using your post as an example, I was just being general trying to point out alternative avenues in dealing with mirror fever :)

Who said I didn't like people venting on the internet, I simply said if you have an issue with another member at the gym, talk to an employee because stating your concern on the internet will not fix the problem. A glance is different from continuously looking at someone, no doubt. Welcome to the gym, where an entire…

Make sure you have a plan, that is all. Who cares what other people think, say, or do at the gym? Be polite, don't be a fool, and all will go well. If you are concerned with people looking at you (why?) then work out at home, remember, you chose to go to the gym which is a public place, people have eyes, humans look at…

Any salads are usually fine, minus the dressings. A Chicken sandwich or steak sandwich of some sort is usually low on calories as well, providing you hold off on the sauces and fries! Myfitnesspal actually has an extensive list of menu items for various items in the food database, check it out. Don.
