I am hoping to get an HRM soon as well. I have read on other topics thru MFP that your HRM is mor accurate because it is measuring YOUR heart, not a presumtion like the machines can be. The HRM is attached to you, not the machines. Just my thoughts on it...hope someone else can give more insight on this for you. :-)

BUT, THIS TIME, I am doing some strength training with my Turbo Jam workout and now my Turbo Fire and I have noticed they…

AMEN!!!! I am 6'2" and, while I dont wear 4" heels, I do wear heels. The heels themselves help with posture (and yes, make your feet looks smaller) I have had an issue with posture my whole life...kids in school used to tease me about being tall and/or were afraid to be my friend for some reason. My Mother-in-Law, whom I…

^^^^^This is me too^^^^^^^ Once I get my BMI a little lower, I will incorporate more lifting. But, I need the cardio for strength/endurance for my heart & lungs, not just for losing weight. ^^Exactly!!!!^^

You have ABSOLUTELY made the right decision!!! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!!! :-)

This was about a month and a half ago...the jeans are already loose and they were brand new, size smaller jeans that day!! I do Turbo Jam...a LOT of squats!!
-
GREAT JOB!!!! You are doing great!!! Keep it up and keep pushing forward!! You are SOOOOOO WORTH IT!!!!!!

I agree with what everyone else has said. When I started, I had about 60 lbs to lose to start. My biggest problem was I lsot a LOT of muscle tone and my cardio SUCKED! I started out slow by just walking. Everyday I would try to go a little bit further. After awhile, I felt that my body could do more and I had to push a…

I have noticed a little myself. I jsut keep pushing forward and HOPE it goes back down! My stretched belly didnt go away much after I had my daughter and now that I am losing the "junk" under it and it is more noticable!

I take a Womens One-a-Day Multivitamin daily along with Biotin Supplement for my Hair/Nails/Skin. I may start taking Fish Oil as well.

^^^^Agreed! (and same here) Also, find what your body doesnt process well or what youa re better off having. For me, I need to watch how much sugar I have and need to keep my sodium a little lower or drink a heck of a lot more water then normal. GOOD LUCK!!!!
