I had a Boston Terrier before we had to euthanize him @ 10 years old. He remains the best friend I ever had....

Although not from Norway I am Norwegian in descent ... I love the country and have been there numerous times with hopes to someday move there if the chance is there.

Well I am 5'11" and weigh currently around 135-140 lbs. (it fluctuates depending on water weight) and she approximates I have about 13% body fat. I'm not currently trying to lose any weight but rather maintain my current weight as I don't think it would be healthy to lose anymore...

Well I'm 5'11" and at my last weigh in I was 137.6 lbs.

Well I don't think that is the case because from my understanding of MFP and activity level its not taking into account your exercise but rather your day to day activities (like for example, amount you move around at work) excluding exercise ... which is what I've always based it on and I've lost 47 lbs. I'm losing weight…

I love my Newtons...they are a little pricey but worth every penny.
-
I love PB2 ... mainly because it taste just like "regular" peanut butter without all the calories (I eat a lot of peanut butter, lol). Whatever you do do not try calorie free Walden's Farm peanut butter I found it at Wal-Mart and tried it and I imagine eating wall spackle would taste better it was by far the nastiest stuff…

Mine said 170.1 lbs....but I'm happy at my current weight of 140 lbs. WAY OFF, lol.

I got a small instead of a large (although I REALLY wanted it) TCBY yogurt today, lol.

I recommend minimalist shoes as well (I use Newtons and Adizero line of Adidas shoes) but be aware that you need to work up to them don't just slap them on and start running long distances or you will injure yourself. Also I wouldn't recommend toes...you should strike more midfoot (not toes or heel). Just keep working I…

I go easy with the Krogers Instant Oatmeal - Apple Cinnamon is my favorite. :-)
-
This is very true...make sure you transition slowly from a regular running shoe to minimal running wear or you will injure yourself VERY quickly.
-
I love my Adidas Hagio shoes and anything by Newton running.

I think this is great advice. I generally run 16 miles+ on Saturday morning which gives me a little more to work with that day ... and then Sunday I'm generally satiated and can stick to my calorie intake.

I agree the exercise is off but I think WAY off is an overstatement. I have found it to be slightly off exercise wise around 75-100 calories (max) on exercise calorie counts.

two large eggs (140 calories) + two stripes of low sodium bacon (80 calories) between two slices of nature's own whole wheat light bread (80 calories) = 300 calories.

I weigh myself (naked) every Friday morning before I shower. I try not to take it too seriously, but I am very fearful about gaining weight mainly because I lost a lot of weight my last couple of years in college just to gain it all back after I got married. I want to maintain my weight at about 140 lbs. so I'm paranoid to…

So do you think MFP over- or underestimates calories? Does it depend on intensity of workout? I mean I generally run 10-12 miles at 7:30 minutes (75-83 minutes) and it states I'm over 1000 calories burned. I've lost weight using those calories but just curious what everyone thinks.

I run 10-12 miles at a 7:30 pace.

Its only bad on your knees if your running mechanics are flawed. I am personally a proponent of proper running form which means you should not land on the heel of your foot as it puts more pressure on your knee joints - you should instead land on the mid-section of the bottom of your foot (mid-foot strike). I have had…

Well I generally run 9-11 miles in the morning which last between 1 hour 3 minutes and 1 hour 20 minutes.

My first was around 33 minutes and the last one I ran was 18 minutes 47 seconds.
