ETA: I give up, my image won't work. But everyone else has great pictures :)

Hi! You can eat more and still lose. I'm really petite (5'1) and 141lbs and I still manage to lose while eating 1650 [gross]. I strength train 3x a week (I'm doing Stronglifts) and try to get about 30km on the stationary bike as well.

I love food wishes. Chef John does blog posts and recipe videos on youtube :)

I've lost about 37lbs in a year (my one year anniversary on MFP is this Sunday). It's taking me a long time to lose because I still like to enjoy food!

I'm not a big fan of makeup (I'm too lazy!) but I always admire those who can properly apply it - I have no skills and I'm not willing to invest the time to learn different techniques. Since I've started working I wear makeup everyday, just a basic look, otherwise people think I'm the same age as my elementary school…

If I swung that way - yes :)

Well said! Just because someone has different values than you, doesn't mean you can judge them! Good on you OP. Listening to the things others have said and changing your opinion :D

:D To those who are doing 1200/day how did you arrive at that amount? I'm a petite 5'1 girl and I usually eat 1600-1700 a day. You can lose weight eating more (you just have to figure out your TDEE and BMR). If you still arrive at 1200 after calculating that then so be it, but I'd encourage you to think critically when…

There are definitely some good and helpful people out there!

Why does it offend you? People can do what they want. I'm tempted to post a pic of my butt now just to spite you.

As a Canadian, I get upset when the only food listings I can find are in ounces. But that's what google's for (inversely you can search for values in grams).

I just started lifting and I think it's helped shape my body (based on how clothes are fitting better). I'm doing Stronglifts 5x5 (which does stand for 5 sets of 5 reps). I think it's a great beginner program. If you have a smartphone you can download the app. It'll tell you how much to lift - it's recommended to start…

This sounds like such a horrible situation for you. I'd say if he won't marry you until you reach a certain weight then he really isn't seeing the full picture (the many other reasons to love someone other than their weight). Follow your gut, you know the situation better than anyone else. My gut is telling me you should…

There are too many people claiming to be pervy who aren't! How dare they steal the word and change the meaning so other pervs can't use it!

I hope so. I consider myself to be pretty funny (other people debate this but I make myself laugh which is what I consider to be important). I also think I'm a pretty good friend.

I want to go all over. After I finish teachers college I plan on living abroad for two years (one year in Asia and another in South America - most likely Korea and Argentina). I lived in Sweden for a year and I wouldn't mind going back. My ideal job allows me to travel around the world and I don't intend to settle in the…

My advice would be to do whichever one you enjoy the most and will stick to. Try both of them out and then pick the one you like the most or do a combination of the two :). In terms of the actual work out 30DS is probably a better body work out than the elliptical but as long as you're being active and enjoying what you do…

It's definitely true about the peers you have as friends on mfp. My friends list has definitely evolved over time - from low cal newbs when I first started to more IIFYM weight lifters. I'm definitely happy with the way things have gone. Thanks Sara and SideSteel!
