I am doing the VA Beach half in September. I can tell you I won't be running the whole thing. My pace is between 12 and 13 min/mile. What I do is jog approx 15 minutes then walk fast for 2 minutes. I am currently taking them for the past 3 weeks and have lost 3lbs :( I have noticed a decreased in appetite. I have been working out a lot so I don't know if I have gained muscle mass and that is why I haven't seen the weight loss.

There is about 110 people where I work and only 24 are participating. I like the idea of emailing tidbits to the losers. I am hoping people join me after school and do some exercising on the track or in the weight room.

That's great what your work has done with contributing money. I work for a school so there is no funding so for us it's what we put into it.

I have created a spread sheet, thanks for the offer. I have created it thru excel and it shows each week and percentage loss for each week and total weigh loss. :)

We also paid $10 a person. The person with highest percentage loss at the end of 8 weeks and the team with the highest percentage loss will split the money. I am trying to think of things to do between now and the end...maybe like a fitness challenge after school one day and the team that wins can have 2lbs given to them??…

:smile: That's great. When it comes to Outback I always lose the battle. I eat the loaded fries, salad with ranch dressing and sweet potato, and of course a filet mignon. I still don't have enough will power to overcome Outback. So Great Job.
