  • I once bought a Fruit of the Loom 3 pack and they are ridiculously small! It says 34C, but it looks more like a training bra! I like the one that Target sells. Bally also makes one, but I don't like those so much, the under-band is almost non existent and slides up, so kinda pointless.
  • Are you listening to music or something while you run? You have to not think about how much time you still have left. A good song can keep you motivated and distract you while running, I usually sing in my head. Also, when it comes to distance, I don't look far ahead when I run, buy more so to the side or at the ground.…
  • I did the Warrior Dash last year there. I'm want to do it again, but I'm going to wait til the Groupon for 50% comes out. I'm sure they'll do it again. They sent it about a month before the event. I think if I would have paid the day after the 2010 race, it would have been 50% too, but ehh, didn't What is Beach Palooza?…
  • 42.2 km run! Good God! I'm already dead! lol
  • I was wondering that too, if you HAD to use a certain bike? I'm sure if its an official one you do.
  • Have you tried recalibrating it? I use a cheap $5 from walmart and compared it to map my run online and it was exact to the one hundreth of a mile.
  • Blah! I'm kinda the same way in not losing the weight. I'm doing everything great except one thing, I usually like to have a drink with dinner (or 2 :) :drinker: ) and I know that is my major road block and I always say, well tomorrow I'll stop the dinner drink. Nope. Let's do this, feel free to add me!
  • I really, really thought Haley was going home. I can't stand her and couldn't picture her on the radio, she'd be like another Ruben or that old gray haired guy that won, if she won. James always gets great feedback from the judges and the judges even said Haley sucked. So sad. But I think that James will still get a deal…
  • Do what feels best for you. If you have the energy without food, that's great, if you are getting hungry...then grab something light and simple before hand. Like before a race (which are always ungodly early in the morning..lol) I eat a simple breakfast bar of some sort. You definitely don't want anything too greasy or…
  • thanks for the thoughts! i always thought it would keep my hair dry, which was the main purpose of buying it when I was swimming every day. I didn't want my hair to die because of all the chlorine! I knew it helped make you more sleek and what not, and thought the dry hair was a bonus.

  • I drink it from time to time. It's not gonna kill you. I like to change it up and don't want to drink plain water every day or lemon flavored water. It's still better than soda.

  • I'm down in Florida and get burned every time! But when we were in Mexico, we couldn't find the normal sun burn relief stuff, so here's my advice. 1st- don't like aloe, it makes your skin sticky and creates a gel layer, like it doesn't absorb 2nd- if you can find it down there, use lanicane (sp?) it's usually in a spray…

  • Even though I listen to music, my mind wonders a lot! I usually think about my business and what I still need to do for the day. Usually its, "I shouldn't be running, I need to do a, b and c...so I better hurry up and finish!" LoL
  • I get mine from VS. They sell all different styles and sell them by bra size, not just small, medium, large, etc. They can be pricey, but if you get them on sale, its not that bad.
  • I had a coupon for it, so decided to try it, it was a $1 off and on sale at Target too! I agree, obviously plain water is best for you, but I would go crazy if that was all I drank. I usually make one glass a day with the mango peach mio. Sure, lemon slices and what not are healthier, but this is still better than grabbing…

  • I think you can get it for $19.99 on Amazon or something. Still pricey, but fun. Shoot....people spend over a $100's on shoes, so why not a fancy water bottle?
  • feel free to add me as a friend. Good Luck!

  • i find fresh foods are a lot cheaper than packaged stuff, especially those "diet" meals and snacks. Just sticks with simple foods and use seasonings. Also, if you have an Aldi's nearby, they have great prices and their produce is amazing!
  • Did you download the additional songs for Just Dance 2 also? I know there are other versions out there, like the Michael Jackson dance one. Check out whats out there and see if it has songs you like.
  • Instead of doing a detox, I'd say start to "flush" your system. Starting increasing your water intake and if you can, don't drink anything else. This will help you feel less bloated, I find, because your don't have all that extra sugar in your system. I've always heard a good water goal is to divide your weight in half and…
  • 4/17 weight 147 past two weeks have been crazy and tough to stay on track
  • agreed with the oatmeal. I looked at your food journal and the starbucks oatmeal was almost 400 calories! ouch! prepare it at home and add fruit to add bulk.
  • Watering, either over or under is what usually kills a plant. If you tend to forget or over water best advice.... 1. make sure you buy a pot that has drainage on the bottom and then set it on like a plate or bowl....whatever they are called that usually clip to the bottom of the pot. This way, until you get used to how…
  • All of mine is in planters too. Here in Orlando, everyones house is built with a sprinkler system that uses reclaimed water for the grass. So, if you want to grow food to eat, you have to tear out a portion of the sprinkler system, so it doesn't water your veggie garden and have a fresh water sprinkler instead. Needless to…
  • chicken soup with what ever vegetables you have on hand, then spices to coordinate. I love enchilada soup, with spicier seasonings corn, peppers, onion, zuchini and then just toss the chicken breasts right in there. You can do it in a crock pot so you don't have to worry about it. If you want really juicy chicken, I will…
  • Hi Sandy! Welcome and good luck with everything! There's a lot of great tips and recipies on here, as well as motivation. Be sure to browse through the recipe section and if you want to save any for future reference, just reply to that post, usually people say "bump" and then its saved under "my topics".
