I did'nt think I'd enjoy running, but honestly I could'nt live without it now. I did my first 5k two weeks ago and I surprised myself when I came in first place for my age group  It's something you come to enjoy more and more. There is nothing more mind clearing to me than a good run outside on a sunny day.

I'm telling you it does'nt matter when you eat your calories. It only makes sense that if you workout during the day and you stay under calorie goal, it won't hurt you. I eat up until sometimes an hour before I go to bed. Nothing heavy, just fruit and cottage cheese and a kashi bar, maybe a sugar free pudding cup and I've…

I too love pinto bean soup and also great northern bean soup. They are both delicious and high in fiber and low in fat. They are natural foods, therefore good for the body. I just cook mine all day with lots of water on them and add a ham hock for flavor and b/c my husband likes to pick the meat off it with his beans. I've…

Hi, I'm 5'0 and weight 103 lbs. I started out weighing 210 back in August 2010, I've been at it since and weighed in yesterday at 103. I workout just about everyday \only giving myself a break when I feel like my body is telling me it needs one. I know I don't need to lose any more and most of my family is worried about me…

Eat enough to feel full. Don't skip on food just because you think that certain foods are too many calories. I eat at night usually up until an hour before bed and it does'nt bother me. Of course I run my butt off everyday too, literally , but thats how I like it!

Has'nt anyone heard of the "EAT THIS, NOT THAT" line of books? I own 4 of them and the restaurant guide one is awesome to have on hand. It covers sit down restaurants as well as fast food ones and basically they tell ya the better choices over the bad ones on each menu. Well worth the twenty or so bucks for these books. Oh…

Now I weight 104lbs. and I see a dietician on a regular basis and she tells me NOT to loose no more weight that I am were I should be for my height. I am very happy with the…

I run in place and move my arms in front of me like in a swinging motion and then in front of me straight out like over my head and back down to my sides and alternate between the two ways every five minutes while I am running. Plus I do push ups everyday
