  • I have not Thyroid, and I'm on Synthroid. Feel free to add me. I think that you also need to make sure that your T4 is in the correct range. If your hypo it will be hard to lose. I have been *knock on wood* my successful thus far, losing 45lbs. in the past several months.
  • Amazing weight loss!!! Thank you for sharing your story with us! You are a true motivation for all of us!
  • I see a big difference, bro! Keep up the great work!!
  • Going to the Dr. today. We shall see..... Back about 10 years ago I loss a ton of weight. I was super stoked. I went to the GYN and jumped on scale. The numbers had dropped by over 100lbs. I expected the nurse to say something when she wrote it down under my last weight in. Nothing. :( Ohhhh welllll....
  • I was looking at a color run for October. I have a question about the powder they throw: Do you breath any of it in? I have had bad asthma and bronchitis in the past, so I'm worried.
  • Continue on your merry way and don't worry about it. IF and WHEN she comes to you for advice then gladly give it to her. Unless she is ready to make a change she will not do it. Don't pressure her, you will only drive her further away. Great job, btw!
  • OMGosh!! I love the photo, it is a great visual. Great job!!!!!
  • I watch it on YouTube often. It is very eye opening and puts it all in perspective. I will have to look for Secret Eaters, I haven't heard of that one before.
  • Generic Synthroid didn't work for me either. I was also told it is poorly regulated. Take your meds now, if you can, if not I was told I can double up the next day, you will not overdose on them. :) (Of course check with your Dr. as needed.)
  • Girl, friend me!!! I had a total Thyroidectomy (thyroid cancer), I am also on Synthroid. I would love to talk to you.
  • No, not really. I don't share my little NSV's with him. He wouldn't understand. He is naturally at a good weight without ever working at it. He doesn't understand how people become overweight or how much of a struggle it can be for a person on a diet. I prefer to not talk to him about it, because it usually results in me…
  • I have my CCP, I like having the option to carry if needed, especially if alone or alone with my kids. I have a huge responsibility when carrying and it isn't a free for all. Living in a state with slack or strict CCP doesn't bother me, I live in a state that about mid-line with the laws. Even with my CCP, I'm still very…
  • God, I love this!!! Prospective is everything!!
  • A-MAZ-ING!!!! Super like!!
  • Hey girl! I'm a big girl too and really want to master this running thing. I decided to down load a C25K app last night! I did my first day today. :) I know you can do it with some help and guidance!! I downloaded the AccuTrainer last night, but ditch it b/c it wouldn't chime in and let me know when to walk/jog. I just…
  • I have extra "butt" I'm willing to give away.....

  • I have over 100lbs to lose, please feel free to add me. I log daily and am on here daily. I know you're strong enough to follow through and fulfill your quest.
  • My motivation has waned in the last week. I think it has gone on a vacation or fat-cation.... I am still pushing myself to workout daily. I am sticking to it. I have made great progress so far and I WILL NOT STOP. Just get out and do it!!
  • UGH!!! NOTHING is worst than the "fat talk". I have had this "talk" with my husband. He has asked me about my weight (very obese), in a loving way, but he wants me to change so I can be around for him and our kids. No matter how "sweet" the talk is, it HURTS and honestly made me resentful. Trying to approach the subject in…
  • Girl, I love it!!!! You are doing so good!!! Do you mind if I add you? I started out close to you at 311 and am currently 271.
  • I'm not a fan of planning an extreme cheat day that includes just stuffing yourself to the gills. I know that personally I struggle with overeating and portion control (with is why I'm here!) I know if I allowed myself to indulge in excessive eating I would only open a door to continued uncontrolled eating. Like putting an…
  • I count water as in only water as water and flavored waters, such as adding in a low calorie flavor packets. My husband had this conversation with the massage therapist. She asked if he drank a lot of water, he said yes, tea. She said that is not water..... It requires "processing" that water doesn't or something like…
  • With out reading all of the comments. I will post what I used to think and what I think now. Even though my mom had her stomach stapled back in the 80's and never really took control of her weight even with the surgery, I have always known deep down that WLS was not a "free ticket" if you will. I have now as I've grown…
  • 100+,lbs here. Feel free to add me. I know you can do this. It is "hard"in many ways, but your strong and can DO IT!!!
  • I use mints (peppermint) when my stomach feels off. Peppermint is very soothing for the stomach. A little late, sorry!!!
  • These: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2013/02/healthy-cookies.html No offense to the blogger/website, also I had originally seen them on FB. They were, um yuck... yeah, that's all.... I couldn't eat them, I hated the texture, mushy/hard.... controdiction I know! My kids wouldn't touch them. I tried to feed them to the horses,…
  • Wow!!! Great transformation!!! You look awesome and have done a wonderful job!!
  • First of all, I'm sorry sorry that your in pain/sick. My mom had her stomach stapled years ago (in the 80's I think) when it was the trend. It wasn't very successful for her as far as weight control/loss. I remember her having difficulty with foods also, she would always say that her stomach was "clogged" if she ate the…
