More like a completely random and totally gossipy observation; hence posted in chit chat.

LOL. Plato will either be very happy or turning in his grave. Now if we are talking a PLATEAU... If you have stalled for less than a month may be wait couple weeks more.

FOOD. I do HIIT Runs followed by spin class. I replenish in between with a pure protein bar.

SPOT ON!!!!!

I probably fit the big up and below category but I agree with you. Lets face it; what is being touted as curvy is just plain fat photoshopped to remove imperfections.

The photoshop goes beyond smooth skin. There is NO WAY the waist on couple of those are real.

That's O-H-I-O for you. Love it!!!

Lived in Cleveland for 9 years. Moved to Columbus 3 years ago. In Lewis Center.

Good for you. I found that the fitter I grew the more confident and assertive I became.

Watch the documentary "weight of a nation" on HBO with her. Don't make it about her. Just watch. It is an eye opener for people of all ages.

Have your thyroid and cortisol levels checked. Both of these bad boys prevent weight loss. In addition, I would revisit your macros. J would also try a cleanse to get things moving a bit.

Request your neighbor to buy a pit bull. Have him chase you down the street. You can add resistance by tying a piece of steak to your rear.

Do you have a significant other? Can they take charge of some of the activities regarding LO? I wake up at 4:30 every morning to be at the gym by 5:30. Sometimes I run at lunch time.

I have 2 daughters. It took me 4 years to realize that it was not quantity but quality of time that matters. Exercise makes me happy. My kids prefer a happier mom over Ms. Grumpy. I am also trying to instill healthier habits in my girls. How do I do that if I look and act like a sloppy pig who cant climb 4 stairs?

I only miss workouts if its a scheduled rest day or if I am sick. Nothing else is excuse enough to miss sweating out.

I drink 16ounces before anything else in the morning. I carry my 24 ounce bottle everywhere with me and keep sipping every so often. With the bottle always there its herd to ignore the water level not going down.

Yoga. I practice pranayama breathing which helps in other types of workoits as well. Also helps with stress relief.

.....a dog humping your leg leaves you gasping for breath in sheer ecstacy.

This made sense to me since eating the calories back seems to have put me in maintenance mode. I like his suggestion to vary intake based on need (if you feel fatigue or ravenous... but not as a rule).
-
I eat fruits and veggies, even potatoes (once in a while). Its the processed carbs I keep at minimal. One tortilla or slice of wheat bread a day. Usually earlier in the day.

For almost 5 months my weight loss has hit a plateau. I have lost 2-3 inches in the meantime but the scale has remained almost static. I am tempted to cut back on calories but I am afraid of fatigue.

Have lost 50 pounds. Got 20 more to go. But I want to lose all that in body fat. That's the hardest part.

Have lost 50lbs in last year. BTDT. First week is always the greatest because mostly its water weight. Then the loss could be sporadic. Secret is not to lose heart and patience. 3 weeks is not sufficient time.

Try having an apple instead of protein bar. It also helps wake you up.

On days I do HIIT I eat some carbs plus protein an hour before workout. HIIT for me is springing at 6min miles with 1 minute rest intervals. I don't eat anything before normal workoits. Post workout I have a protein bar or shake.
