Welcome to the group. As was stated earlier it's nice to set a goal. Just having this exercise goal for me is helping. Can I ask what all you do to eat clean. I have got to get lower on my fat, carbs and sugars.

Today I got in a quick 25 minute walk while at the baseball fields. Not alot but I burned about 200 calories and listened to my body. When my leg began to ache I stopped.

Welcome. I said a hunted day challenge but as I think I mentioned mine is 97 days because that is my birthday. The challenge is easy. 100 (or the amount you choose) of some sort of physical activity. Start small and increase. That is my plan.

So I'm a little late posting for Saturday. My success yesterday was doing laps in the pool . It's been sooo long. I was slower than I remember but I did it.

I burned 747 calories doing 45 minutes of water activities (laps and weights). This is day 96 I guess I am counting down or day 2 if u count up. How about you all

Okay so I had to start slow and it took a while due to my leg injury but I got in 10k steps, 10 flights of stairs 14 active hours and burned 3000 calories. Although I don't think the calories are as accurate.

Friday check in: I started off pretty good today. I decided last night my best bet is to make daily goals I can meet. Today its to get in 10k steps, drink at least 8 glasses of water and stay under my calories. I am not going to worry today about fat and carbs. I do have a question though. SO I am new to this site but I think it may be very helpful. I see Thursdays are "fess up" days so I am going to say that I have fallen off the wagon. Well haven't really started. Just Struggling. I have the same issue. I have always been an emotional and bored water. However when I keep myself busy I don't plan meals. I feel like a lose lose situation.

I should give this up as this is a huge down fall for me, but lately I have been into Burger King and I don't know why cuz it is so unhealthy. I am giving up fast food, all of it, Wendy's, McD's, BK etc. I am also going to add something new to my eating each week. I will by trying salmon next week.

This exactly. Find something that works for you. Start small maybe change one thing about your diet or exercise. Once you feel you have stuck to that add something else to change. Little changes can make big differences.

I agree with all of you. My downfall has always been food. As for the cardio and calories burned I wear a heart rate monitor so I know the calories burned are right. I'm in. Right now I am 5' 10" and 269. By valentines day I want to be 259lbs. Roughly two pounds per week.

AS most people have said, there will be some days that you just make really bad choices. I did so today. All you can do is realized what happened, learn from it and move on. Tommorrow is another day and you can't give up.

Thank you all for the support. I do prefer to way myself everyday to see how my progress is or isn't going, I am back down again beyond the 2lb that I had se for myself last week so I am back on track and plan to stay that way.

Im in. I have been on my fitnesspal for awhile but only in the last few months have I really been logging in my food and exercise. I am 11 pounds down and I am looking to lose at least 59 to reach my starting goal. So count my in.

I think this is a great idea. I may have to try something to that effect next month. Heck I may even piggy back off yours and do the same thing. We'll see. As for my motivation right now, I have tried to make a new years resolution to compete in at least a 5k walk/run within my community.
