  • I'm on the same crazy boat - I take birth control AND use condoms every time, and will until after I'm married AT LEAST!
  • I'm so sorry that you had to go through this. Remember that your body is your choice - regardless of whether or not you wanted to keep the baby. Your famly should be happy that YOU are okay...and that there may be a chance of a baby in the future. I for one am you are safe. That being said, you look great. Keep up at the…

  • Holy mother of...I haven't checked this post since I put it up on Sunday night. I am so amazed by the support and love this community has shown me. Thank you all for your kind words - you have no idea how much it does for a shakey self esteem. Thank you to everyone who sent me friend requests and personal messages as well!…
  • I always go for a Tall Light Mocha...I can't keep myself away from their delicious whipped cream. I usually ask for just a little dollop to satisfy me :drinker:
  • The reason people most often get tattoos is usually to remember a part of their life, someone in their life, a vacation or experience - really we all have no right to judge what others do with their body. Even if it's done for no reason at all...it's not your choice. That being said, I have 3 tattoos. One on my lower back…
  • I drink green tea every day...for a while I couldn't handle the bitter taste, but I got used to the flavor quickly. Some are worse than others...I drink Good Earth green tea with lemongrass. It's definitely the best I've tasted so far, and I've been drinking it for about 2 years.
  • I did Insanity - it got me great results on the scale. I didn't tone as much as I wanted to, and I felt uncomfortable with as much plyo as it offered - I modified A LOT of the movements. After1.5 cycles (I hurt my knee after the first month of the second round) I got tired of doing the same thing and switched to TurboFire.…

  • I often say the only time I COULD run is when I was being chased by someone or something... Still, I'd probably get mauled to death in the end. Running just isn't for me! lol
  • My fiance recently made a comment similar to this...saying that he missed my big butt and thick thighs. You KNOW I'm working so hard and that's what you have to say to me?
  • I did the same. Diamond jumps? You have to be kidding me...

  • Just start slow...I've completed it and started off really slow in the beginning of each of the two months. As your body gets conditioned, they will be easier to get through. Don't give up! Get good shoes so you don't mess up your knees (that's why I stopped the first time I tried it). Keep to it and know that you can get…

  • I just started Month 2 - I got through month 1 about 3 months ago - I hurt my knee so I decided not to hurt myself more by pushing through. Month 2 is rough! So far I've lost 3 lbs (month 1 only) and modified the plan slightly - I would push Day 6 (Saturday) to the recovery day (Thursdays). Doing it only 5 days a week…
  • Speaking from experience - the more of a deal you make of it the more those around you will. If anyone says something to you that's offensive, shoot it down quicky with INTELLIGENT responses and you'll never hear of it again. Good luck.
  • Thank you all for your positive words - sometimes I need a snap back to reality. Thank goodness for the MFP community and you wonderful people!
  • I had the same kind of results...I have three weeks left. I lost 16 lbs total so far, but days 30 to 60 aren't much different at all. There are a ton of push-ups in some of them. I just try my hardest and do as many as I can. You can do it! Good Luck!

  • I had the same feeling when I looked at my before pictures. My boyfriend wouldn't let me look at them until I was a month into my training and could see a difference. I'm about a month and a half into p90x, and I'll tell you that this is a slow process (I started at 202, 5"6) but I already see a difference. I have…
  • Someone said this to you!? DId you tell them to go *kitten* themselves??
  • I'm not obsessed with the number at all. I remember how good I felt when I was that weight. I was at my healthiest when I was at 150.
  • Hahaha...I have to hold them too! I'm doing P90X (I would never do jumping jacks otherwise) and when they do that part, I move my feet with them and hold my boobs instead of flailing my ams around. Too funny to watch, I'm sure!
  • I always have the uniboob problem - i'm a 36F and wear two bras to work out...still get heckled when I run. If only they knew!
