I should rephrase: I think I'm eating too much meat, and it's making me go pretty far over the recommended amount of protein I should be getting. I'm eating about 135 g when I should be getting around 95 g

I've been trying to do the same. I'll let myself have a sugary zero calorie drink at the end of the day (like Sprite Zero), and it's helped.

Make dinners ahead of time (like on Sunday), and have them for the rest of the week. Breakfast: overnight oats (if you google, there are some great recipes online)

What you're saying is obvious. everyone has their own struggle that they're going through. You don't need to belittle it

how much do you work out? I usually run or go on the elliptical for about an hour, 5-6 days per week, but then I eat back the calories (I don't count carbs for my sanity). It has helped me a lot and I think keeps my metabolism up (my food log doesn't reflect that because I've had the flu for the past week!).

I need to eat something, so it's generally a piece of fruit. I've found that no matter how much I eat, I'm usually hungry by 9 (I get up at 5). I'd rather just save calories for later, when I know I'm more likely to feel deprived and binge

i agree with what everyone else is saying. I think it totally depends on your lifestyle. I don't eat from 5 pm-10 AM because I don't like to eat as much at night. I couldn't survive waiting until noon to eat.

Thank you everyone! I definitely try and get protein in my breakfasts- I'm on chobani with almonds and an apple, but when i wake up at 5, my stomach is raging by 8!

I don't expect to lose afterward- it basically sabotages my weight loss for the week, but on that rare occasion when I do see an immediate loss (usually after eating lower than 1000 cals or something drastically lower than normal just from being busy), it validates me checking my progress every day on the scale.
