Hi Kate. Was trying to message you but it's refusing to send, wanted to wish you well as I am also recovering from cancer. All the best you are doing great. Carol

Please ensure you eat what you need for recovery, log your foods and drinks. I'm also recovery from two major surgeries. Good luck and I wish you well
-
You must log food and drink otherwise you will defiantly under estimate what you are eating, plus it will help you to see where you need to make changes. Good luck

What's team RH

I hope so or I have wasted four years of logging on mfp. Of course you can lose weight, it may be slower but yes eat the right things in the right amount and move a little more and you can lose weight. Good luck invite some from of a similar age on mfp and complete your food diary each day, you can then get tips from others
-
Good luck with your journey. What are the twelve steps?
-
Good luck Ann we all struggle be tumble at times but we need to keep at it
-
Welcome Deb good luck I'm sure you will do well
-
Hi Dwebb I hear you I really do, even though ok it tokerp my hands busy evenings is my snacking time too, it's a hard one, can you save some calories for evenings or have fruit, there is a group called 'stop evening snacking' ( something H along those lines it may not be called that exactly though. Good luck

Tammy looks like you are doing really well, keep up the good work, struggling too since two Major ops.
-
The first important thing to do Is put your stats into mfp, this will tell you how many calories you need per day to lose weight, you can chose your loss per week but be realistic with that. Then complete the food and drink diary for everything you eat and drink and be honest about it. Start with those and then we can…

E I'm 70 it's harder to Lose when you get older, do you find that? Good luck I'm sure the answer is there somewhere
-
Sounds like you are doing really great, long may it continue
-
Slowly is the very best way to lose weight, mine is slow and been hampered by two major ops in three months, gotta keep at this. Good luck
-
Please don't be disappointed with a 2 lb loss trust me that's good, you don't want to lose too quickly it's not good for you and more importantly it's not sustainable, good luck you can do this
-
Welcome Nick you can do this, good luck
-
Hi Judy yes I'm nearly 71, been on mfp for a long time, some health issues this year caused some weight gain. Feel free to add me. Good luck
-
Keep logging and stick with it. Move as much as you can and take each day as it comes
-
OP. You are doing an amazing job, I can say that completing the food diary in Mfp is very helpful so if you hit a bump in the road you can look at your calorie intake and see where any problems arose. Keep up the good work and keep logging. Well done
-
you are doing a great job and look brilliant. I'm 70 but had a nightmare with health issues this year so have gained some, its hard getting back to it

It's very important to success to log food honestly and daily. You really can do this but you need to see what you are actually consuming and see what you can cut down on. Good luck
-
