I'm 70 and have been on here over 4 years, i intend to stay its a new lifesyle, dieting then going back to how you ate before will not work. good luck to you, you really can do this.

Prednisone is so weird my husband is on high dose reducing and is losing weight and also had no appetite, he also has diebetes and his sugars are way high now, best of two evils when drugs are needed.

If the friends are supportive and comment on your posts yes it is very helpful, howeveruf they don't it very annoying. Support is a two way thing. Wishing you all the best and good luck

I'm 70 and still sticking with this journey as it can only make things better. Most have some physical or other problems as we get older but e need to adapt what we do suit or abilities. Logging your food and drink and moving more gradually will pay results albeit slower as we get older. Good luck I hope you find a way…

Yes the idea is to stay put even through the bad times, that way at least you are not adding more weight to add to the problem. Best tips Stay with it through good and bad Complete a food diary every day and stay honest. Get some supportive friends on MFP with open diaries for ideas. Be sure to give support back to those…
