Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is a favorite right now! :) 1/2 C canned/fresh pumpkin 1 C unsweetened almond milk 1/2 C low fat Greek yogurt Cinnamon to taste Handful of ice cubes Blend until smooth! I also will throw in a scoop of vanilla protein powder if I am drinking it post workout.

I eat a lot of the same foods too. I don't really tire of them, actually crave them! I love my eggs (any way I can get 'em), chicken breast, stir fry, steamed brown rice, nuts, almond milk, peanut butter, greek yogurt, etc. Love it! Off to make homemade chicken stir fry ... as we speak. LOL

I started my journey last year at 321 lbs and I am now down to 216.6 lbs. I can totally relate to your dilemma. I even started removing people from my friends list because of it. You gotta be realistic and committed! Feel free to add me if you want. I am not perfect, nor has my journey been, but I am doing it. :)

As a woman and a cancer survivor, I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE with you. It is awesome that the NFL wants to support the cause but god damn it is ugly. Plain and simple. I say, support the cause with a pink ribbon on the back of the helmet (like they do every other cause/memorial).

Thank you! I really can feel/see it in my midsection. I will take uplifted boobs though. Save me $$ on surgery later. LOL ;)

Thanks Jazzy!

I shall never doubt my journey based solely on the scale again! Though, I would LOVE for that scale to plummet and I make it to Onderland for Christmas, just saying. ;)

I was scared to post mine but .... if my posting helps motivate someone else to get on track, to recommit, to keep going, then it is totally worth the slight embarrassment. I am not where I want to be but I am so much closer than I was and I am damn proud of that (stretch marks and all).

Good for you! Yea, I went up two lbs this month. I got really down about it but now, after seeing these results, I am over it. I *KNOW* that muscle weighs more than fat and I *KNOW* that I lost fat and gained muscle this month. I am excited. Trust the process is my mantra. I say it every single day, MANY times of day. It…

My MIL calls me that and I still get so shy about it. I have been many types of a woman but never the shrinking kind. I think I could get used to this! :) Thanks for the kudos!

Thank you so much. I have been dealing with health issues as well and it is trying. However, I refuse to go back to the "old me". So, I trust the process and KNOW it will get better. You hang in there sweetie! You are on the right path.

Yes ma'am! I lost 100 lbs this past year, been at a plateau for 33 days now, BUT I did lose 18 inches this past month sooooo ... I am a happy girl (with a plateau). LOL

Awesome! I hope you enjoy it. If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you. THIS was quite a challenge. I am going to pick it up again in November/December. It will keep me on track through the holidays to boot! Good luck to you! :)

Thanks ladies! The 30DS is a 30 day circuit training program from Jillian Micheal's. You can find it on YouTube. It isn't easy but the results are absolutely worth it!

Totally agree. I think people over-think this journey. It is really pretty simple. Eat well, exercise 5-6 days a week, drink lots of water, and get 8 hours of sleep. :)

YouTube has great videos! You can do some beginner exercise routines with Chris Powell (Extreme Weight Loss trainer) and Jillian Michael's (Biggest Loser) for my hardcore stuff. I have used/use both and it is a great way to start a routine, working into something bigger.

I do it first thing when I wake up. As far as food, make sure you create a fail proof environment by bringing your own food and snacks.

You are off to a great start! It is amazing how those little changes add up to something amazing. I am about 15months into my journey and am down 100 lbs. I have 60 lbs to go. Feel free to add me. If I can do this ANYONE can! :)
-
Thanks Ladies! :)

Feel free to add me! I lost 100 lbs this past year and of recently I have been having health issues that are limiting my activity. I have 60lbs left to go and am still staying on this journey, even if I can't be as active as I wish!

Thanks y'all!!!

You look amazing!

I truly wish I could reply to each and every single comment on my post but ... WOW, I am so unbelievably overwhelmed at all the love I have received. It is already 4:00 AM and I am not half way done. If I didn't personally thank you ... THANK YOU! This is my journey but having such awesome support and encouragement truly…

Thank you so much for the sweet words! I really wish you nothing but the best on your journey as well!

I had it too! NO fun! I was in a boot and a cast. My saving grace was the arm bike at the gym and the pool. The arm bike was a great cardio burn, plus it tones the arms. The pool is awesome because there is next to weight put on your foot. They have awesome water classes you can take too! :)

Thank you! I can be done. One of the biggest things is not to let those bumps deter you. They will happen, there will be temptation, you will fall flat on your face, and that is OK. Just dust yourself off and get right back on. No need to wait until tomorrow, next month, etc do it NOW! Congrats to you on your success!! You…

Thank you so much Shane! I never realized how old I looked until I lost the weight!
