Favorite Workout (that doesn't feel like a workout)?
What is your favorite workout (that doesn't feel like a workout)? I discovered spin early in my journey and it is still a favorite; a great burn and it is fun. At Christmas I received the UFC Personal Trainer XBOX game and am in love with it. It is so fun and I don't really feel like I am working out. Plus, I am "training"…

Starting P90X3 - Can I even do this?!
Can I? Yes, though it probably won't be pretty. LOL I have decided that this week to start the P90X3 workous. I have lost over 100 lbs so far but have hit a 3 month plateau and thought this would be a great way (along with adjusting my cals) to break this pesky plateau. I won't lie ... totally scared ****less! Any words of…

Scale vs. Tape (PICS)
I have spent the last three months stuck in that place that nobody on this journey likes to visit, the dreaded PLATEAU! Like I have done this entire journey, I did a lot of research and talked to those who have been successful on this journey, adjusted my cals up and then back down, changed my workout routine and nothing…

Zombies, Revelations, and Katy Perry...OH MY!
I am stranded in a township, surrounded by zombies. I have been spotted; the brain hungry creatures change their direction and are headed towards me. I hear a voice in my head screaming, “RUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNN”! Let me start from the beginning. I am on a journey for my life. I want, I NEED, to survive. In May of 2012 I made…

100 lbs lost (with pics)! Only 60 lbs to go! :)
My entire life I have always been the token “big girl”. I tried dieting, more times than I can even remember, but always failed. I allowed myself to believe that I was always going to be the big girl, it was in my genes. A little over one year ago, I woke up and was 321 lbs. I was morbidly obese, miserable, and missing out…

I lost 100 lbs AND .... (pics)
It is my favorite time of year...FOOTBALL SEASON. I pulled out my favorite Husker t-shirts from last season and it looks like I am going to need some new fan gear. A year ago I weighed 321 lbs, squeezed into this t-shirt and now I weigh 220.4 lbs and swim in it! It is amazing how those little losses over 365 days add up to…

Breaking a plateau, small losses add up
I have been "stuck" in the 230's for some time. A friend told me that maybe I just needed a good binge to break my plateau. Then she added that is she only lost 6 lbs one month she would give up. I opted to distance myself from this so called "friend". This is my last 30 days on MFP. I lost a pound and then hovered at…
