Love ya Jules! It is so flattering to read your response! When I tell my story, this one or my cancer story, it is always my hope that it can change one person's life, to encourage and inspire them, and to help them feel like they are not alone then the journey only gets sweeter. :) I am so glad that you are reminded of…

I am 38, 5'6+, and started my journey a little over a year ago at 321 lbs. I am now about ready to break through my 100 lbs lost goal. I still will have about 60 lbs to lose to be at my ultimate goal, 49% of my body weight (down 165 lbs). :) I would be happy to answer any questions you have. Feel free to inbox me! :)

I am on the night schedule too! I wake up at 9:00 PM and go to bed about 1:00 PM the following day. I typically do not eat anything after 8:00/9:00 AM and I try to stay away from starchy carbs and sugars before bed, especially since I workout in the mornings not before bed. It has really worked for me. Maybe switch up your…

I have lost just shy of 100 lbs and am struggling with the loose skin fears as well. I just told my fiance the other night that when I was fat I was less self conscious about my body than I am now. He reassured me that this is just a temporary body. My body is ever changing. A year ago I would have called him crazy if he…

Congrats on re-committing! :) I have been on MFP for about 4months now but I started my journey over a year ago. I have lost 95.6 lbs so far and have 59.4 lbs to go! It is absolutely possible. If I can do it, anyone can!! A couple things to keep in mind ... 1. TRUST THE PROCESS - If you eat right, exercise, drink your…

Miss Rachel don't you know flattery will get you everywhere with me. ;) Thanks for the sweet words. :)

If you feel confident and are ready then DO IT! It isn't about waiting until you reach your goal, it is about celebrating the journey. :)

Hahah Well, I will attribute that to the biking indeed. I am not biking as much as I would like now but I did start a squat challenge. I am determined to have that BAM kind of butt! :) Thanks for the sweet words and I am so glad we are friends now.

Thank you and congrats on taking that first step! You don't have to be great to start but you do have to start to be great. :)

I agree with you 110%. :)

I weigh in every other day, just to keep my body in check. I don't base my success off the scale, not on a daily or even weekly basis. It is just a gauge to see what is working, or not, for me.

I am so glad I could help!! Don't forget inches too! Sometimes the scale doesn't move but the measuring tape does! Congrats on the 7 lbs! That is 7lbs GONE and that number will only grow while you shrink! :)

Feel free to add me! I had 150 lbs to lose but after a year into my journey I am down 83 lbs!!
-
I lost 83 lbs this past year. Two months ago I discovered MFP, a week ago the community. I would love to have people on my list that are actively using the system and who are on the same "wave length". I will send you a friend request. If you are interested, here is my story:…

Thanks! All this flattery is going to go to my head! :)

Aww thanks Emily! I am glad my story gives you hope. Congrats on your loss and I look forward to reading your success story!

A great problem to have, huh? :) My first bit of advice for you ... try to eat five small meals a day. It is very important while on this journey to keep your metabolism moving. I eat three meals and two snacks a day. Make sure you don't skip that first meal of the day, really is vital. Eating five times does not mean you…

Sometimes I feel like it is a dual persona. I post my one year blog on there and got two replies, TWO out of all my friends and family there. I post it on here and am inundated with friends requests and am given so much love and support. I love MFP. When you are on journey like this (150 lbs total to lose) people will…

I just want to thank everyone for their comments. I am truly overwhelmed, to the point of tears. To be called an inspiration is my greatest NSV on this journey. A year ago I started this journey for ME, to reclaim my life, and to know that I am succeeding AND inspiring people along the way. It is an amazing feeling. Thank…

Remember this ... Time will pass. You choose your ending. :)

I don't even know what to say. I have never looked at myself as an inspiration. THANK YOU! I am just on this journey, making a better life for myself and knowing that I am inspiring other people on the way just makes this even sweeter for me. THANK YOU again!
-
Thank you and congrats to you too! Keep it up!

Thank you! My ultimate goal is 150 lbs. However, since that was too daunting I broke it down into 25 lb goals. I just hit my third goal + and have only 2 1/2 to go!
