That guide is spot on! My recommendation is using the bands for strength training. You might find that we have some loose skin with all the weight loss( I lost 120lbs.) and simple strength training with bands and weights helps build muscle and shows better cut results! The added muscle makes the loose skin go away(arms and…

Started a body weight program. 3-sets each pushups, inverted rows, diamond pushups, deep squats, single leg calf raises, stationary lunges, lying leg raises, and floor crunches. This is week one. Sets increase by one each week for three weeks phase 1. Staying out of the gym currently due to Covid....Turning 62 next week…

I'm only 14 months post-op. Since hitting my lowest weight of 212lbs. I've maintained somewhere between 216-220 lbs. I count my calories but eat what I want and cheat on some things at times especially during the holidays now. I think maybe because I stay active and have been looking at putting back on muscle that I lost.…

I agree with monalisa401-Fairlife 30gm tastes great! I also use vanilla protein powder and mix with Fairlife with fresh fruit and blend it.

Add at will. Enjoy the ride!

Gastric Bypass 10/14/2019. 61 yr. old. sex-yes please. peak weight- 334lbs. current weight. 217lbs. Maintaining between 217 and 220lbs. Eating no problem. Keep the protein up and work out. It's easy to loose muscle if you don't work out. Bands and pushups work for me. Good luck to all considering the surgery! Saved my life!

I am about 5 months post op and hot foods don't bother me. Only issues I have had have been sweets(which I don't eat that often). I get really weak and start shaking. Guess by bod is telling me NO sweets! LOL. I also get the reactions you talk about when I eat too fast. Other than that I'm so please with results so far.…

I think that the required protein 60 grams minimum and 90 grams max is more important. That keeps your energy and muscles up. Had my surgery in October and sometimes getting in 700-800 calories is difficult. Right now I'm closer to 1000 on most days. Lost 88 lbs so far. Any exercise is good too. I can't run because of an…
