Thats right, BMR shows you how much calories you need to maintain and to live without moving a muscle, than you have to add your daily activity and than your exercise. So 1326 to maintain(live) + 300-500(daily activity(walking, moving around). So if you burn 500 a day than youll lose a pound a day on 1326 cal

That's a fine line to walk. If you dont get it right you'll lose muscle instead of fat. If you under eat your body will burn muscle first because its easier to tap in to than fat. Its a game of timing when and what. Do it right and you'll get awesome results, do it wrong and you'll sabotage your self.

9 sets thats crazy stuff i tell ya. I'm no trainer but come on, most I've see was 6 and thats hard core but mostly 3-4 sets 6-15 reps depending on your goal.

I would suggest not doing abs every day. Do you exercise all muscle groups every day, i don't think so. Abs are muscle and like other muscles need rest. Machines are for starters if u never hit the gym. So you say you go to the gym but do you know what you are doing. I see it every day ppl come and do some type of work out but its just waste of time. They dont do it right way. Do you have a program you fallow or just do what comes to mind?

I would say hit the gym and pump some iron, and you should be fine, Figure out what you want with your body and do it. If you never weight lifted , you should start with machines first and than free weights

Did you know doing intense cardio is not good for you. Both of you might be doing it all wrong. Interval training should only last 20 min max if you do it right(1(3 m/h) min walk 1(highest speed you can run) min run).
