I'm 5'4" - I went from 178 to 128. My goal was 125 - but I'm happy at 128. I think 125 might be too thin - 3 lbs can be a lot - depending of your frame and how much you have to lose. -

583 day streak - so yup, I was here in January. I had already pretty much met my goal. I'm being successful at maintaining.

I lost 40 lbs by walking and lowering portion size.

it's hard to explain the pain... rest seems to be the best remedy. My sports medicine doctor also had me run less often and shorter distance - for a few months. I still get them quite often as I have tight / short muscles. Not fun. Oh yes, dr also had me apply ice. -

If you are a beginning runner, it's normal that your pace is a little slower - nothing wrong with that. I've mostly cut on portion size. I measure everything - instead of having 3 bowls of chips, I have 1 portion which is 50gr - which is plenty! At first, I tried cutting things I love out - that was not going to work... so I cut down. I do eat lots of veggies and fruits and other healthy things... but I didn't cut out what I…

my arms don't stay near my body - not yet but that's fine - there are all sorts of variations. I started on the wall, then on my knees, now I'm on my toes. I can't do tons of them but I see improvements every day I do them.

My husband has the garmin pedometer / watch combo and loves it.

I log everything. It keeps me honest =) I tried not logging - it lasted half a day because I could tell I was overeating right away... accountability I guess...
