  • I'm about to start this too! Need to try something to break this plateau I'm having!
  • Yay! Glad to see some others in the same situation! Feel free to add me!
  • Happy Sept. everyone! Glad to be finally into the 2nd trimester! I can't even believe the difference I feel! I just did Lindsay Brin's prenatal work out video- just the yoga part- and it was great! Anyone else tried this one? Any other good pregnancy work-out videos that people have tried?
  • Hey Gals! Can I join your group? I'm about 12.5 weeks pregnant today and looking for motivation and support to stay healthy and fit during this pregnancy. I have been off from work since about 6.5 weeks pregnant due to severe "morning sickness". Right before finding out I was pregnant I was about 130lbs....lost about 8lbs…
  • I agree with Adam as this is the most accurate way to estimate calories burned. That is how I log 30-day shred- I usually burn anywhere from 100-120 cals every time I do it based on my HRM.
  • I would highly recommend at HRM if you don't already have one. Since I got mine, I have discovered that I was grossly over-estimating calories burned (both by machines at the gym and MFP) which can throw off everything. Also, I think upping your calories is good idea to see if that makes any difference. Good luck!
  • I just made this in my ice cream maker and it was pretty good. I don't know if I would call it ice "cream" as it isn't very creamy- more like a sorbet. But it was definitely worth making. I used the original sweetened almond breeze + vanilla extract + cinnamon = about 60 cals/cup. Thanks for the idea!
  • saving this- can't wait to try it! Thanks!
  • saving this. thanks!
  • Today will be day 7 for me doing 30 day shred (level 1 so far). I have been doing shred in conjunction with 30-60 minutes of other cardio exercises (elliptical, treadmill, stair mill, etc) to increase my calorie burn. I wore my HRM the first few times doing shred and I only burned 150 calories - not bad for 20 minutes of…
  • I have to agree with the some of the other posters about staying on MFP and using the maintenance mode. I wish I had found MFP the first time I reached my goal weight 2.5 years ago. I gained back 15lbs slowly over a few years even though I kept up on the exercise. I was obviously eating more than my body required! Glad to…
  • I agree with most of the gals- I gain about 2-3lbs right before and during the first day or two of TOM no matter what (I am eating the same and exercising the same as the rest of the month). It's just our lovely hormones at work! Limit your sodium intake, drink more H20 and avoid the scale that week!
  • Well i'm 130lbs today which is down 3.2lbs since our official weigh in day (where I was 133.2lbs). But I don't really feel like it should count because the day before our weigh in day I was 130.8....so i'm going with 0.8lbs lost since the rest was just water weight.
  • 133.2lbs at 01:00pm - I work night shift so this is my morning. I am a bit annoyed with the fact that I weighed 130.8 yesterday and today I am up more than 2lbs, even after exercising and eating about 1000cal. I know it is all water related but sheesh! I might be the first to gain 5lbs! LOL I think the 5lb finish line is a…
  • I'm in! Just joined the website today and am excited for the challenge. Are we posting stats (weight loss, calories, ??) daily here on this thread? I think this will really help me stay motivated! Thanks for starting this thread! Feel free to friend me!
