I just want to quote this so you know YES--my water will be below this amount every day, per Docs orders... low HR, and too much water removes sodium/electrolytes that I actually need in my diet (I know--what a problem, right?! To keep MORE sodium in your system!). SO--my proposal... if we can all post or msg our water…

Check out BodyRock.tv - totally free, fairly quick (read: when the kiddo is entertained for only a mere 20 mins, you still have time to do it!), and she shows beginner moves for all of the workouts. Even doing the beginner moves, it KICKS YOUR *kitten*! :D

I like hard boiled eggs--cooked the night before, they are just as portable as a piece of fruit!

Sounds like you might be getting shin splints-ouch, and I'm sorry! I got them, too (and thought somehow they weren't as the pain was not on the front of my shin), and a few things helped. 1st--make sure you have the correct shoes... this might mean spending some money, but they will be worth EVERY PENNY and then some! Go…

Yeah--I don't think there is any magic solution... I know I've looked and tried! :D Since you lose fat doing cardio (in your happy "fat burn" zone), perhaps you could up that? Other than that, it's probably just going to take T-I-M-E  And even if your abs are under a cute layer of belly (that's how I like to think…

I have lost 5 lbs in one day, and gained nearly 10 in another--water, workouts (and whether or how much you stretch afterwards), hormones, sodium, sleep, and a MILLION other things affect your weight daily (or sometimes even hourly!). Some folks swear by weighing daily (look-up 'secostley' as a username if you want a…

Check-out Gina's Skinny Recipes, and search Zucchini once on the site: http://www.skinnytaste.com/ *She's got LOTS of recipes to include zucchini in (that are not necessarily veggie-focused), as she always ends up with tons of zucchini every year as well  My fave recipe of hers that has zucchini is the Greek-style…

I wanted to pop-in and say hello... I *may* have stalked this thread down from the last challenge (that I kind of didn't really complete) I have no specific goals for this challenge... just to really get back on track and keep going in the right direction! And, of course, encourage you ladies and check-in for…

Hi, and welcome! I am actually moving BACK to WA in a mere 14 days--feel free to add me if you'd like a Rainy State buddy :D I think you will find a lot of support and tools here that are very helpful; my friend actually quit WW and just comes on here because it's free and she loves the CONSTANT support and feedback. I…

What he said  As an aside, I notice when I stick to my green tea vs coffee in the morning routine (not doing so hot lately), my muscles don't get as sore as easily and I don't retain water as easily. Probably has something to do with the antioxidants... so it won't directly help with weight loss, but those two…

Houston by way of Cypress! One of my other friends (if you look through them) TxJulie is here in Cypress, too... I will be moving back to WA soon (and becoming a SAHM at that time--so maybe we can still inspire each other?!) but Julie is here for the long haul

bump... when I finally get a few shirts :D

AWESOME!!! What a great feeling on a Friday  Please post a picture when you're so tiny you can fit you and that little one in the second picture into the pants with you... I did that this weekend but didn't get a picture. HILARIOUS and super inspiring, so hold onto those pants if ONLY for that!!!

I just made a pretty tasty/yummy/real pizza for dinner tonight... even my caveman husband loved it :D Check my diary if you'd like--the crust recipe is from Eating Well website (I usually do 3:1 on the whole wheat to white flour and add only half the salt, so it's even healthier but tastes just as good). Hubs did say he'd…

Just checking in for later... thanks for putting it together April!!

Rachel, How much have you researched this? Do you know low-carb is the best plan for you, or are you hoping for quick results to get into that red dress? For example, as Jade mentioned--carbs are essential to brain functions. Also, when I was researching the possibility of 'going low-carb', I learned how carbs are used by…

 I've been super M.I.A. ... I will try to get on-point when week 4 posts! Looks like there's some GREAT progess though!!! AprilVal--I just love you new hair cut! So cute. Cazz--you are looking amazing!!! Now go get at least one smaller scrub top and bask in the compliments that are sure to follow  Let's…

SHOES--go get fitted at a specialty store... probably the BEST first thing you can do! A good place will recommend some great shoes for you, even if they are not the most expensive; for me, I just went to the closest Fleet Feet. They'll also watch your gait (walking or running), measure your feet, and probably have you try…

I LOVE Phineas and Ferb!!! I usually put it on and have to go get my daughter to watch it with me so I don't feel quite as ridiculous watching it by myself  Dora, however, can take a hike  Also, I often use my daughter's little cups/plates for my lunch/snack at work... usually b/c she has left it in the car…

thank you, thank you, thank you! I just ate my last VitaTop a couple days ago and was waiting for a GREAT coupon with no shipping... ordered and on the way :D

You can check my diary if you'd like for ideas! I actually lowered my limit from MFP's default of 2500 to 2000 and stay under about 5/7 days. Just don't look at the last weekend or so--family in town and my birthday :D Basically though, I cook a lot from scratch and try to avoid the frozen meals... when I do have a frozen…

SO COOL!!!

I've used my ft7 in the pool... no issues, and it seemed to be recording just fine!

Just checking in to tag the new challenge--have a great evening, and I'm looking forward to kicking butt on the challenges this week :D

Let me be the first to say... HAPPY FRIDAY!!! Sounds like some of us need the weekend  NIKSTER--your loss this week is so awesome! So are your 6 miles, even if you didn’t enjoy it all that much :P APRILVAL—I’m glad you stood-up for yourself and aren’t putting up with that behavior!!! We’ve got your back…

I also have a Polar (FT7)--got it as a gift, I think my sister paid about $90 for it? I love it so far! Only used it 4 times so far, and I already don't notice I'm wearing it.

I just get a thin crust, light cheese, and lots of veggies! Usually avoid the meats b/c of crazy sodium content, but get chicken if I do. We order from Domino's b/c it's convenient--plus they have a Cal-o-Meter on their website, so you can figure out the "damage" ahead of time  Good luck!
-
Check-out Bodyrock.tv--kind of hardcore stuff (you'll know what I mean when you see the gal who does it!), but she offers all different level options. Can go to the website or search for it on YouTube :D PS--I like SparkPeople, too... especially when I am too intimidated by BodyRock for that day!
-
AWESOME!!! Super inspiring... look for my friend request :D

I'm totally addicted :D I've only seen one gal who donates at least half--I'd like to see more of those folks! I got my first free item a few weeks ago from coupons (just a toothbrush), but it was a pretty great feeling... also addictive!
