  • :noway: There should NOT be that many ingredients in chicken!!! Not only is it generally healthier to eat from home, but I'm *cheap* I brown bag it every day!!!
  • I know everyone's got treats and yummies listed, but mine is bananas--I don't care how many sugars, carbs, etc. are in them--hell, you could tell me they have arsenic in them, I refuse to give them up EVER
  • Kilo--change your "IMG"s to "img"s and the pics should post :) *They are there now--WOW!!! What a fab change :noway: Even with the long rain coat, you look like a completely different person!
  • Never been so happy to be a PEAR!!! Good info :) Not completely giving-up my cheese though
  • Great job!!! I LOATHE Mtn Climbers, but do them b/c I know they're good for you--so I especially appreciate and applaud your NSV there!!!
  • Phew--great challenges April! I am getting exhausted and tired just reading through them :) If we stick to it, we're all gonna be skinny-minis by the end of this 10 weeks  While I plan to incorporate/add all of the mini challenges, my BIG goal for this 10 weeks is to get my 150 miles ONLY from walking/running!…
  • Crystal & Cazz--freakin awesome ladies!!! You both made GREAT progress--I'm so happy for both of you  Of course I'm happy for everyone else, too... we'd love to all see some more pictures!!! And now that I've said that, I will say that I don't have before and after pics *DOH* I will try to get an after picture…
  • Melody--I am with Miovlb6... probably water weight from the Chinese! And that can add up to TEN POUNDS, so in reality you could definitely be down. Check again in a few days and CHUG some water between now and then--good luck! :drinker: <--that's water ;) My weight-loss was HUGE! I'm kind of worried actually that I lost…
  • Um, I'm freaking out!!! :ohwell: I guess I have it in my head that I should have lost 20 lbs or something ridiculous like that!!! I've lost a whole size during this so it's not like I haven't made great progress... in reality I'd like to see 5-10 lbs gone, but no specific number. I, too, will be hiding my scale for 2-3…
  • OMG I am drooling!!!
  • BEST. POST. EVER. Should probably be required reading...
  • Hey--I think your diary is set to private or only for friends; if you change the settings we can take a look  I am over on protein most days--MFP has that setting very low in comparison to fat/carbs. You can ask your Dr or a trainer what they recommend and go change the settings manually (for example, mine is set to…
  • Haha--kimchi! You can have it--all of it! I guess the WAY I eat foods is weird... like, I will eat bell peppers like an apple... I crunch up a small piece of melba toast to put on my PB toast (hubby doesn't like crunchy PB--that's the next best thing)... stuff like that! I do love me some brussel sprouts…
  • Happy Hump Day, y'all! Everyone is doing so well and seems so positive lately--I just love it  I can't wait to see everyone's final numbers, and hopefully PICTURES! Thx Crystal for reminding us  My vote is also for H2O Exploding those Pounds! Def w/an exploding fireworks graphic... and maybe we could do a new…
  • The flavors don't really excite me--pretty standard stuff, comparable to other frozens, and all are a meat + carb combo (with a few veggies thrown in I guess). Haven't tasted them though... for frozen meals they aren't TOO bad on the sodium--range from 360-500. That's certainly not great, but not as bad as some others.…
  • GREAT job!!! Yet another story that proves the scale isn't the best measurement of our sucess--the change in just your stomach alone I would have guessed more like 15lbs!!! Thanks for sharing--gives me hope that I, also, am truly NOT stuck with the post-baby belly, either  Guess it's back to more hard work...
  • It's like a party in the parking lot before a big game... here's the Wiki info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tailgating
  • If you like meatballs as a tailgating food, Gina's Skinny Recipes has lots of good meatball recipes (that you can make bite-size, of course). I think she's also got an App section you could pull from. I've make both the Greek Turkey Meatballs and the Asian Meatballs... both my husband (and 3 yo!) loved.…
  • Breakfast! We do it at least once a week... kid and hubby are happy to get sausage and waffles, and I'm pleased with my omlette :D
  • So, I haven't even stepped on it, but I officially hate the scale--I am having a freaking panic attack about weighing in on Sunday!!! Why do I still care?!?! Little_Lisa_Ann--how are your measurements? Perhaps you gained a lot of muscle and/or lost some inches if you were really consistent during this time. I…
  • If being super fit and healthy means giving up bananas, then i will be unhealthy with a fat belly forever! That being said, while I'm certain the sugars in bananas affect you, I've lost 5 inches off my waist and eat a banana nearly every day. The info listed earlier regarding their glycemic index makes sense, and…
  • THIS!!! Honestly, I will try oatmeal every 6 months or so, just b/c I know it's "fantastic" for you... but no matter what kind or with whatever in it, I just can't stand it. To me, it's like chunky snot
  • kjensen15 has a great idea! I always try to get some protein within 30 mins to help my muscles, and carbs within 2 hrs. Good luck, and great question!
  • BMI is WAY less important than some other numbers, that actually TELL you something--cholesterol, body fat %, etc. Not to mention how you FEEL! I have lost about 35 lbs (can't weigh until Easter) and am still considered obese by BMI standards, but I would be happy exactly where I am right now b/c I eat healthy and…
  • I tape my shins every now and then, but I've never seen this stuff--seems pretty cool! Much prettier at least than the basic white
  • That's really awesome!!! How wonderful you must feel today
  • Thx April for putting together this final challenge! Good selection of challenges... I still just LOVE the "3 things" challenge  Today, I'd have to say my hubby is who I'm most thankful for... I could go on and on, but he is so supportive in this journey and words just can't explain how lucky I am... *swoon*…
  • I am also planning to weigh every 2 weeks... maybe even longer if I can put it out of my mind for long enough! I measured once about halfway through this "diet" (or about 3 wks), and it was nice to see a good change in numbers. We'll see how that goes for a couple months or so! Last week folks--good luck this week. Work…
  • So funny!!! I have been dreaming about weighing, too and I also never get a number :grumble: Not that it would mean anything if I did. I am picturing you pushing your dad off the scale to weigh yourself and it's cracking me up... again, Easter cannot come soon enough! Happy Hump Day friends! T-Minus 10 days until…
  • That is really cool! What a great shop to do that... and prepare yourself--ink is addictive!!!
