  • I have arthritis in my knees I find it hard to do a lot of things. squat cause major pain for days. However, I started doing aerobic step with a 6 inch step. I can do that for 30 to 45 min at a time without a lot of knee pain.
  • At my restaurant we make a hummus chicken wrap. Take grilled chicken and put in a tortilla wrap, add hummus lettuce and tomatoes. It makes a great lunch. Also try the same wrap with spinach artichoke dip instead of hummus.

  • Some diabetics have issues with their kidneys and protien is bad for bad kidneys. My mother is diabetic and her kidneys are only functioning at 25% so they have her on a diabetic, low sodium, low protien diet.
  • I have to get up between 5 and 5:30 am. To be to work at 6AM. I am usually in bed by 9pm every night. It is all in routine. The more you do it The more you get use to it. It was easier on me I have never been a night owl. Lived on a small farm growing up. Up with the roosters and to bed with the sun.
  • Thanks for the replies everyone. I now its been hard on her. And yes the meds sometimes make her gain weight. She has been on many different types over the years.   • my purpose is Health. My mother has diabetes. And issues related to the disease even though she excersizes daily and eats right (even at 73). The disease is a silent killer. I fear getting the disease.
  • Add me. My Dr. said my lack of losing weight was because of hormones. HA. Now I work harder. I don't lose as fast as I would when I was say 20 but I am losing the weight anyhow. Having a good support team helps me alot.

  • I love all the posts about the fruit you should or should not eat. However I see that no one has mentioned that yes fruit has sugar but, it is a natural sugar. Our bodies digest it better than processed or simple sugars. So I eat my fruit, but in moderation. a bowl of strawberries are good but a bushel is not.
