-When you don't feel sore for more than 4 days and you up your workout. -When you burn extra calories to fit in wine on a wine day. -When you read the ingredients on something at the store that you love and put it back. -When you buy the lean steak over your favorite fat marbled cut!

I do the 1200 calories. I tried upping my calories and couldn't keep up with eating that much food! So I lowered it back to 1200. I try to eat back at least half, but not all of my exercise calories. After reading a lot of stories and going on this venture with 2 other people, I've come to realize that it depends on the…

My lowest weight is 115, but I am just as thin as 115 when I have more muscle and weigh about 136. My goal right now is to be my 115 thin with my 136 muscle. Hope that helps. I've been at it for about a month and a half and not really losing much weight (pretty much where I was 3 days after starting), but my measurements…

I don't lose very often either. Dropped 5 lbs the first week and haven't really lost since. I go up and down a few pounds, but have been pretty much hovering since. It's been about a month and a half, and i exercise 6 days a week. However, I was getting discouraged by the scale myself. So now I weigh and measure myself…

I just don't let it get to me. If 122 is where you were most comfortable, then that's all you can really say. 122 on you isn't necessarily 122 on someone else. Different heights, body builds etc. Also, as de-motivating as it seems, people might be telling you that you don't need to lose weight because they think you don't…

We, (me, my sis, my daughter and my niece), are on day 7 today. Doing good, visible results on everyone! In very much pain though as me and my sis have added weight lifting the same day and found out after doing day 1 that we already did those exercised with heavier weights that morning! But we are still sticking to it and…

I would LOVE to do this! Can you start a group instead of a post so we (me and my sis) can join the group? Lol! Never mind, just saw the last post. Searching the group right now!

I don't see my husband jumping in the the 30DS with me. He thinks it's cool that we're doing it (me, sis-in-law & daughter), but he said he might do some weight lifting with me at the gym. He also works out at home on The Rack, he's more into building muscle while losing weight than losing weight. Not sure if that helps,…

That's awesome! You look great!

I love high fat/high calorie foods. The more fat, the better it tastes to me lol! Good thing I also absolutely LOVE healthy food. I have always eaten healthy food, even couldn't get enough veggies as a kid. I just have to eat less fat, be more active and keep at it!

The only thing I really prefer people not to wear at the gym is massive amounts of perfume or cologne! So annoying when you are working out at the gym and gasping for fresh air because someone gets on the machine next to you smelling like a fragrance bomb went off! Other than that, whatever. If they are comfortable, wear…

It is! My current weight is under what seems like most people's goal weight at this height, but I have a belly and weight to lose on my thighs too. I am working out and started weight lifting last week hoping this might help.

Some days I eat more, some days I eat less. If I'm hungry, I eat. I try to eat more protein and dense foods if I feel that I'm not eating enough to exert myself with exercise. But it's hard for me to try and eat back my exercise calories all the time. When you eat healthy, sometimes it seems impossible. I mean, who can eat…

I don't think my husband minds whatever size I am, (or at least hasn't minded in the past or present over about 11 years and 50lbs difference at my smallest/biggest), he just wants me to be healthy. I agree with him, I am working on being healthy. I could be considered "small", but my waist is too big and I am working on…

Don't get discouraged! I too have been gaining weight. Partly due to a higher water intake I'm sure, also, I have been lifting weights and you can visibly tell that my muscles are getting bigger (which takes more than a couple of days ,but you should visibly be able to see some results from 1-4 weeks). Muscle is more dense…

Yes I have! I lost 48 lbs and NO ONE at work said a thing about if for ever! It wasn't until we were having one of our pot lucks and we were all talking about our weaknesses with food, and people were like, "please, like you have to worry about that much". I was obviously overweight before, so I knew that they noticed. Not…

Been married a little over 7 years, been together almost 11. I know how you feel, I have felt that way before. The 30 Day Love Dare fixed that for me. It was so good I got the 365 Day Love Dare. They are books, and they are awesome for relationships. The movie Fireproof is actually based on The Love Dare. Will say a prayer…

I weigh myself once a week now. Also, I do measurements. I gained almost 2lbs last week (which was annoying), but I lost inches. Many things can make you gain weight. Not only that but I've been building muscle which is more dense than fat. If I really felt like weighing myself in the middle of the week, I might just do…

I've been having the same problem. I have read many posts like this and the comments. I see people recommending lifting weights above all. I am trying this now, and if I don't see any results in a couple of weeks I will keep doing this and cut down on my carbs (mostly, cut out my bread). If you can't afford weights you…

My husband was kind of like that a few years back when I decided to lose weight (the first time lol). He would buy foods I loved or want to take us out to eat at places I loved to eat. He says it was unintentional and out of love because he knew I loved that stuff. Not too sure, but not sure he did it on purpose. I…

Yay! Finally one for the average height girls! SW: 138 CW: 132 GW: 115

That is a very good point. You don't JUST want to lose weight, you want to keep it off, and that usually requires a little bit of a lifestyle change. In food and in exercise. When I first started working out again I was very sore too, hurt to walk, sit, stand etc., but I kept working out (including doing what I could even…

Way to go! You look awesome and I bet you feel awesome too!

Just keep on keeping on. Plateau's are so annoying and can last for what seems like for ever! I have hit one myself, about 5lbs above where I usually have difficulties losing weight, which makes it even more frustrating this time around! But, I have actually defeated this plateau before (then due to stress and laziness,…

I feel your pain! I've been working my butt off at this, even bumped it up this last week because I haven't really lost anything in weeks, and bam! I gained! But, thankfully I started doing measurements too. I lost some inches, not much, but still lost. So I weigh more, but I'm thinner. Just hang in there, it will be worth…

WTG! Your results are amazing!

If you eat healthy most of the cravings should disappear in a couple of weeks. Also, play around with healthy foods, you can make healthy food taste really good. Then you probably won't indulge too much, or feel bad if you eat a little extra. Only eat until you're not hungry anymore, but if you're hungry...eat. It's about…

I did palates a few years ago or so, and they work! Hard to keep up, but if you can it's worth it!

I just want to say...Thank you everyone for your feedback! I am excited to start this exercise regimen. I hope I am as successful as everyone else that has tried this. I need to lose about 5 inches around my waist, and even an inch would feel like a good accomplishment, my midsection does not want to budge. Also, congrats…
