I have reactive hypoglycemia (not diabetic) and i have found slowly reducing my carbs has helped a lot. The best change i made was changing breakfast from wholegraim cereals such as shredded wheat or porridge to having greak yoghurt with a sprinkle of granola. I was so nervous to change to this from a high carb breakfast…

Thanks for the offer, I'm not sure I can commit the time this term, so I will join again next time!
-
I was planning to but I've been abroad and didn't see the new term had started :'( next time!

I have quite a kids lunchbox style lunch. I'll usually have a roll or sandwich on smaller bread, then a mix of items such as cheesestring, fruit, veggies, egg, yoghurt etc. This way I can control how many calories by putting different things depending on how much I have.

I use fitnessblender on youtube, they do lots of Hiit and the videos aren't cheesily motivational, a plus for me!

I've been playing since it come out and I find it's a huge motivator for me. My trainer code is 8103 0309 2791 feel free to add me!

Is there another PT you could go to? I'm not a medical professional but they really should listen to you as you know your own limits. I had a problem with my legs, but my problem was tight calves. They warned me not to overstrech them as the muscles could rupture, so personally I don't think I would ignore it.

I second Fitnessblender, they are great. I mostly use the lady, she talks through what she is doing but in a normal voice, no cheesy motivational speeches etc. They deliberately don't add music so you can put on your own if you wish.

I'm in the same boat. I've lost about 20 pounds so far with about the same amount to go, but my weight hasn't budged at all for over a month now. I have a fitbit for my activity and I weigh all my food, we don't use cups here in the UK. I'm hoping it will sort itseld out after some time but it's incredibly frustrating…

When I first started out I felt very similar. I started going to the gym and I really hated it. The only time I could go was the late evening after dinner and on gym days it really dragged my whole day down knowing I have to go out later. I realised how much I hated it and that I was just making excuses not to go. Instead,…

My calorie goal is around 1200, for breakfast I eat less than 250. I usually swap between shredded wheat and milk, or porridge made with half milk half water. I find keeping to whole grains in the morning keeps me full until lunchtime. On the weekends I might treat myself to a smaller portion of sugary cereal, but this…

I started with the gym but I really didn't enjoy it so I decided to stop going. Instead I do YouTube videos at home. My favourite channel is fitnessblender, I mostly use their videos. They do everything, cardio, hiit, strength training with bodyweight or with dumbells. After a while I decided to buy a cheap weight set…

I managed to fit into a skirt I haven't worn in a few years. Today was the first time I wore a skirt to the office since I started there in Jan 17!

I'm a little shorter at 4"10. I'm looking to lose approx 32-35 pounds overall. I have already lost about 10 pounds but am finding it difficult to stick to my calories recently. Feel free to add!

I've had this happen quite a few times for me, I have a fitbit charge 2. If I refresh the homescreen several times and it's still not showing I click into the steps bar and unpair the fibit and then re-sync. Once or twice I've had to completely delink the two devices/apps but recently it seems to have been working for me.…

I'm originally from Hertfordshire but living in Derby, feel free to add!

I am on 1200 calories too, I eat a bit more depending on exercise and how hungry I feel. I have an open diary, feel free to add me. I'm losing weight slowly, for me the low goal is due to my height
-
I'm a little bigger at 152, at 4"10. My ultimate goal weight is approx 125 but my goal for now is 140.

Is oatmeal the same as porridge? If so then I have this every single day for breakfast made with half milk, half water and a sprinkle of mixed spices. If I'm really pushed for time I eat shredded wheat instead but nothing is more comforting than a hot bowl of porridge!
-
I do this too. I meal plan so I know exactly what I'm having for dinner, but whilst I cook I will niddle on anything in the kitchen that's open. What I've started doing is as soon as I get home I put the kettle on and have a fruit or peppermint tea, I find the flavour distraction from wanting to snack

I have plain porridge oats made with half milk half water, this comes in around 220 calories

You can do it!

I am in the same boat as some of you, I work 9-5.30 in an office. It's an open office so I can't really do anything at my desk and my colleagues will notice if I get up to walk around every hour which my fitbit encourages me to do. The printer is at the end of our bank of desks so I try to get my printing each time rather…
