  • Early August: 151 8th August: 150.6 13th August: 150 20th August: 150 again 28th August: 149.4 It's the end of August and I've not done as well as I hoped. I had a lot of social events following the end of lockdown (and being fully vaccinated) as well as my birthday, so I wasn't expecting August to be too positive.…
  • Stats: Biggest weight: 168 Current weight: 151 Goal weight: 130ish for now. Start: 151 8th August: 150.6 13th August: 150 exactly! Weighed in 2 days early as I'm visiting a friend for the weekend. Again, not much progress but at least it's going in the right direction.
  • Hello! I've just completed my teacher training and will start my first full time teaching job in September. My placement was just over an hour away and in between the commute, school, planning and uni work my exercise really suffered. I successfully maintained, but now I want to go back to losing. My goal in September is…
  • I think it depends whether OP means the forums or personal messages. I no longer accept friend requests from men, because of the amount of creepy and inappropriate messages I got in the past. Some of the messages gave me the distinct feeling they are looking to take advantage of the potential emotional vulnerability that…
  • Forgot to update from my weigh in a the weekend. Stats: Biggest weight: 168 Current weight: 151 Goal weight: 130ish for now. Start: 151 8th August: 150.6 Not great, but better than nothing! I've been home alone this week and I haven't been very disciplined. Next week I am visiting friends for 2 nights, so I'll need to be…
  • I have been up Snowdon which is the highest in the UK so I will answer yes to that one. NHIE been skiing.
  • I'm not from Bristol but I'm in the UK. Originally from Hertfordshire, now "up north" in Derby! Feel free to add me if you like.
  • I'm not doing too well lately, but one change that has really helped so far is finding smaller desserts. I have a massive sweet tooth, and crave sweets after dinner. I've found ice cream, chocolate mouse, trifles etc, all in smaller portions. I pick one or two for the week and have one almost every day. It's not…
  • This looks good, I'd love to join! I'm trialling daily weigh ins but my 'official' weigh in is at the weekend, so I'll be posting then. I lost around 10 pounds after Christmas, but around Easter time my work hours and commute ramped up, and I stalled. I've been around the same weight since and I'm looking to get out of…
  • I have dessert every day as I have a massive sweet tooth. Saving some calories for a treat really helps my motivation. Some of my favourites: Mini ice cream pots Small chocolate bar Baked apple, made by cutting out the core and replacing with raisins mixed with some brown sugar. Merangue nest with fruit and low calorie…
  • Ahh I only just saw this :( joined now but I understand if I have to go on the waitlist.
  • I am for around 1200 - 1400, feel free to add me. I've not been doing great lately and am currently staying with family for a few days so I probably won't log much, but mid-next week I am going to be back on it!
  • I'm not a vegetarian but I have reduced my meat intake to 1 meal (eaten over 2 days) a week and the occasional weekend lunch. My calorie goal is 1200 but I usually do some light exercise and eat around 1400. I've been quite bad the last few weeks and will be readjusting this from tomorrow! Feel free to add me if you like.
  • I feel you there! My car turns heads but then they see me get out and look away. I'm not saying I need people to pay me attention but it would be nice to have the full package!
  • I am 1.6 pounds off from being my lowest weight in years! I moved out of the family home 5 years ago, not sure what weight I started at but it skyrocketed to 168. I managed to get down to 145 the first year, but then complacency set in and the appeal of cooking no longer seemed exciting and we started eating more junk…
  • I second 'pinch of nom', my favourite is the blue book - the 2019 one.
  • I LOVE Just Dance and along with dance videos on youtube it's one of my main forms of exercise. For some of the slower songs, it gets my heart rate up about the same level as walking. But many songs get my heart rate right up! I spent some time playing around with different songs to see what I liked and then I used the…

  • Yes I love mini goals and I give myself rewards for them. 6 pounds to go and I am going to buy myself a new game on my wishlist. I think after that my next reward may be an air fryer.
  • Forgot to post at the weekend! Original Start Weight: 168 February Start Weight: 154 February Goal Weight: 149.5 Ultimate Goal Weight: 127 31st Jan: 154 6th Feb: 152.8 13th Feb: 151.6 20th Feb: 27th Feb:
  • My mini goal is to get below 145. Currently at 151.6 - I got to 145 a few years ago, but then gradually went back up to low 160s. Lost a bit but started getting more serious at the start of 2021 which I started at 158. Once I get to it I am going to by myself a new game I've been wanting!
  • Sometimes I have dreams about chocolate, but it usually involves standing in a shop deciding what chocolate to buy...exciting, I know! I LOVE chocolate and know I am not happy if I restrict it. So, I simply save calories every day to allow myself a small treat after dinner, it's win/win.
  • Original Start Weight: 168 February Start Weight: 154 February Goal Weight: 149.5 - I lost 4.5 pounds in Jan so aiming for the same this month. Ultimate Goal Weight: 127 31st Jan: 154 6th Feb: 152.8 13th Feb: 20th Feb: 27th Feb: Spent ages looking for my previous post on the wrong thread before realising there are two…
  • If you're losing weight without working out on those days, I personally wouldn't worry. Is your job active? If you do want to fit extra work in, could you do it whilst cooking? If it needs to simmer on the hob or in the oven you could try and fit a short workout in.
  • I lost about 10 pounds (160s - 150s) and my size didn't go down. But, different brands vary a lot and I realised I was picking the smaller tops (in the same size) from my wardrobe. Looking back at pictures I realised my clothes were too tight before, not fitting me well. Could it be something similar for you?
  • My lunch is around 300 calories. I tend to eat the same few meals with slight changes: - Pasta salad - Eggs and soldiers - Sandwiches - egg or cheese, with fruit - Cheese toasties (usually weekends)

I didn't do as well as the previous weeks but I still did come under or at calorie goal every day except 1, so I was expecting more of a result. I…
  • I also prefer to workout in the morning, it gets it done for the day. However I've gone back to university as a career change and sometimes I have to fit it around classes instead, which I don't like as much. I schedule what I am doing each day in my planner, but only the type - cardio/upper body/lower body. I use youtube…
