First off...I would eat the cake and ice cream. However, I have some friends at work that made a cake from an actual watermelon with whipped topping as the icing. It was really great! They said they found out about on another website.

For me its a circulation thing I think. When I feel it coming on, I will wiggle and scrunch up my toes repeatedly. This seems to help for me.

Injuries.......I am currently fighting plantar fasciitis which has affected my running and some elbow tendonitis which is having an impact on my lifting.

HRM defintely not a need. But....its really cool to have. I never would have spent the money for GPS/HRM, but my wife gave it to me and I love it.

Sounds like plantar fasciitis and I struggle with this as well. You can find stretching exercising on several websites that seem to be helpful. I have frozen water bottles that I use after runs and I also have one at work that I use when I am sitting for long hours. I also use a golf ball to massage those muscles in the…

When my doctor said...."here is blood pressure medicine prescription and oh, by the way, you are pre-diabetic. Its your choice, diabetes when you are fifty or possibly as late as 75 or 80". Declined the meds, lost around 70 lbs, and changed my life.

When I first started, I would "run" a quarter mile and walk a quarter mile. In November, I completed my second half marathon....so, I can run at least 13.1 miles now.

I would take it as an invitation to review what they are eating......."well, lets see, If I ate ________ like you are, it would take me about ______ minutes of exercise to burn off. I don't think it is worth that."

About to reach two of them: 1) losing about 60 pounds to get to a target weight 2) Running a half marathon (this coming Saturday, 4/28) next..... Time for some new goals.

Been to Camden Yards, Nationals, Fenway, Philly, Cincinnati, and Cleveland. Camden yards gets my vote as the best experience mainly because it is very family friendly.

I got up to a tight 44. I have a pair of 34 jeans that are hanging on my office wall that I will be wearing in the next couple of months. I have not worn those jeans in about 20 years.

I noticed some Northern white beans in the fridge this morning and added about 15 beans to mine smoothie. The only negative to this experiment was the occasional bean shell, which didnt grind up very well. However, the boost in protein and fiber was significant.

Invest in some good running shoes. I would suggest going to a store that sells exclusively or primarily to runners and get custom fitted. You will likely spend around a hundred dollars or more (mine were 139). A good pair of shoes is worth every penny. Good luck!

I just use the white cotton gardening gloves that you can get a Walmart or other store of that kind. You can get the gloves for a dollar. They work perfectly for me.
