I exercise 6 days a week too. My rest day is Tuesday. I started at 244 and now I'm 215. I'm 5'7". During maintenance my goal is to exercise 3-4 days a week so I will start to decrease my exercise days when I reach 199 lbs or sometime in June. I know that I will not be exercising 6 days week for the rest of my life!

I've only done 30DS and I love it

Wow! 2000 calories. What size and how many add-ins?

I love nacho cheese doritos. They're the only ones I like. I would literally get upset with my husband and kids if they touched them. I buy the other kinds for them. Why touch mine? Lol. Also, that was the only food that I couldn't buy for a while because I had no self control. I bought some a few weeks ago and was afraid…

I too have PCOS. From the previous posts, I keep reading low(er) carb, moderate protein, and high fat. What percentages does everyone use? I am at 40/30/30.

My dad passed away from a rare form of Parkinson's called PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). I am going to download this app. Also, psp.org is an awesome website.

I believe age can play a bigger part than what people think. When I lost weight last time (2013) at 37 I loved exercising. Now at 40, I only exercise because I know I should. I can't even finish a Zumba class or 30DS without feeling like I'm dying. Although weight can still be lost (I've lost almost 20 lbs in 2 months), I…

My son is graduating high school too. I started a little over a month ago.

That's exactly what I do. I went to TGI Friday's on Friday and asked the waitress to bring me a to-go box with my meal. I put 1/2 of my meal in the box before I ate anything. It really worked. I ate the rest for lunch the next day!

How does Body Shred compare to 30 Day Shred and Body Revolution?

I feel the same way! I eat 1490 calories a day and exercise for at least 20 minutes 6 days a week. The last time I was on MFP in 2012, I felt this way because I think I was exercising too much and eating too little. This time around, I am eating all of my calories and sometimes all of my exercise calories, so I don't…

If you have PCOS, like I do, then you should eat as few carbs as possible. Right now I have my macros set at 40/30/30. My goal is to decrease my carbs to 35% then to 30% and to increase my protein.

Impressive, especially since you haven't changed your eating habits much. Yesterday, I bought a digital scale so I can log accurately. I'm hoping the scale and Metformin will help tremendously.

90 lbs is impressive! How long did it take? I have my carbs set at 40% now. My goal is to lower that to 30% by April since I just started on this journey. Now I'm trying to increase my protein, which will help lower my carbs. I wish i could exercise 1.5-2 hrs a day but i don't think i could keep that up for long. Lol. I…

I've never heard about eating fewer calories than MFP recommended, but maybe that's why I gave up last time. Right now MFP has me at 1540 calories to lose 2 lbs a week. I don't think that I can go any lower. I already feel irritated probably due to eating fewer calories. Last time I did too much in the beginning and by the…

Yes! The facial hair. I hate it! I've taken spirolactone (sp) to help with that, but it takes a while to work and once you stop taking it the hair just comes back. I've even thought about laser treatments but heard that it's not guaranteed for people with PCOS and that the hair can just come back. I've never heard of…

Thanks for the replies. I knew that it would take me longer; it just seemed to take too long. Lol 20 lbs in 11 or so months was crazy (after 10 lbs the first month). I was even lifting weights. I'm in it for the long run now. I just want to make sure that I'm doing everything I can. I bought a scale last time but it wasn't…

I know the feeling! And my husband has the nerve to tell me he wish he could gain weight! lol

I know the feeling. Sometimes it's just not as simple as a calorie deficit for some people. I have PCOS and I have to watch my carbs very closely. Even if I'm in a calorie deficit, if I have too many carbs I won't lose a thing. I lost 20 lbs in the first 2 months (April and May) and have only lost and gained the same 6 lbs…
