P.s thank you for the advice all xx

It is exactly as you say @Laddiegirl - I joined a gym and I just wanted to be more active, but I obviously overdid it. I suppose you live and learn. I'll try RICE starting from tonight and see how it goes. Maybe I'll cancel all my upcoming classes and try swimming instead for a while until it's healed?

+1 :s

I've also asked to join the group :)

Ah ha! Ok, that's great. Thank you all! I did look at a couple of TDEE calculators online, which asked me to input my weight and height (160lbs 5ft 3), and exercise (Lightly Active). They gave me an average TDEE of 1980 cals. So now I understand that as long as I exercise lightly (which it states as 1-3 times a week which…
-
Oh dear I am confused! I am sorry if I am misunderstanding. I have already deducted 400 cals a day, as I have put TDEE less 20% as a custom goal into MFP. Do I deduct 20% from my TDEE and not eat back exercise calories?
-
Thank you all. Ok so with exercise set as lightly active my TDEE is 1980. As I have deducted 20% of this, so set MFP at 1580 - I SHOULD be counting my exercise cals and eating them back (or at least I can if I need to). Just to clarify!

Wow! Looks awesome! Going to have to watch some youtube videos to find out the correct form!
-
@gamesandgains and @jkwolly thank you both! Love the fact you are all so helpful! Going to do a bit of research and make a start :) x
-
Thanks for the picture! I also have dumbells but they are the only thing I have because I did the 30 day shred. I wanted to move on and do more lifting after seeing some amazing results, but I do not have time to go to a gym (as have a young daughter) so it'd all be done at home
-
Ok that's good thank you @_dracarys_ :)
-
Ok guys, thank you so much for all your comments. So if I were to purchase equipment for stronglifts, what would I need? x
-
Ahha! Thank you @jemhh Do you follow a specific programme or just created your own? Just wondering where to start with this thing really!
-
Thanks @_dracarys_ I have heard of the Stronglifts programme, but wasn't sure whether this included the gyms or just the barbell? It might work in the same way I'm not sure - but you're pulling down instead of pushing up. It sounds really silly but I wanted to make sure I did it correctly to get the right results :)
-
Yes that's the devil!
-
Thank you @arditarose - I will wait and see what others say if they have used them. I do hope so as I'd hate for it to go to waste :( and @royaldrea I will not be lifting in heels hahaha I was trying to explain the pictures because I didn't know how to add them :(
-
Ok I can't show you what I mean because I have no idea how to add a picture hahaha!

I'm 5ft 3 and currently weigh 161lbs. Using 5:2 last year by the summer, I got down to 151lbs which was my lowest, and my ultimate goal is 140. I put a LOT of weight on when we bought our first house (an investment job) so we spent our days working and evenings eating takeaways. I went right back up to 170lbs from…

@DepricatedZero I have shopped on this computer before and it was all fine. It's just all of a sudden. Never mind, thank you for helping me :) I will have to wait for my pin to come through and get on my little legs! ;)
-
@DepricatedZero Ok, so there was nothing in the folder in Internet Options, and I've deleted all History and cookies - it's still not working :( I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it just will not let me use the websites properly? (When I say properly I mean when I try and add one item to my basket it says "we cannot…

Thank you all for your comments by the way, I knew guys here would be so helpful!! <3
-
Wow! Thank you :) Ok I haven't done anything just yet because I am using a work computer and wondered whether if I follow those steps if it would affect anything on my computer other than make it work properly again? (LOL) I am mainly using Chrome version 40 :)
-
IT does indeed! Raaah! :s
-
I don't have firefox :( I will try that though, thank you. Just so weird because it always worked before and all of a sudden I can't shop on either Chrome or Explorer  x

They are the first thing to reduce in size for me! Those and the face, and I swear - the wrists! (lol) Stomach and arms are the last to change - although those are the areas I have the most fat so I don't understand it? I noticed mine change within the first month actually. Why don't the things we want to go, go first!!…

Morning all, week 4 and 8th fast today for me. I don't know how much I've lost, because I try not to weigh - although I did this morning because my jeans I wear normally were tight?!?!?! :\ Anyhoo, I have 2stone to lose (at the moment) that'll take me within the healthy BMI range (at the very top though...). Trying to lose…
-
@naoxxx How are you getting on?
-
I'm in please! I'm 165bs and goal weight is 140lbs. I might not hit 10lbs because I don't have a huge amount to lose and only 4.5 weeks until 1st March - however I'll have a good go! Mini goal is to lose 15lbs before April 1st. I'm following 5:2 plan. Feel free to add me - and will there be a Group to 'Check in' with?
-
Me :) It is the only thing that works for me and is sustainable after trying EVERYTHING. Counting Calories was the worst for me, because I am my own enemy. I would eat more because I wasn't supposed to. Done my third week this year, so 6 fast days. I don't eat anything until about 6pm - only drink water - then (for…

Is anyone else from the UK and struggling today? :'( I am just too cold to drink cold water! I don't like plain hot water, or even hot water with lemon. Just can't wait until 6pm when I'll be home eating my soup and drinking my cup of tea!
