Have you looked into getting a Bodybugg or something similar? You wear it on your arm and it is more accurate than a HRM that I have found. I love mine and it has helped me lose weight more efficiently. Counting calories is great but it doesn't do any good if you don't know how many cals you are burning. I fell into the…

As many have stated each person is different so you may have to play with it a bit. I get up at 4am each morning and work out on the food reserve from the night before. If you are feeling weak in the mornings you may want to check you over all cal intake, you may be burning more cals than you think accidentally putting…

I found that it takes finding a workout that interest you. I had tried a lot of different DVDs (Billy Banks, Jillian, The Firm, etc.) and it wasn't until I ordered Turbo FIre that I have been able to stay with a DVD program. I just pasted my 20 week mark! And I tell you I have those mornings were I don't feel like working…

Mine is my 20 wk pic!!! 4mths post breast reduction and almost 30lbs down!

In my opinion it is not really about the weight. I have a very athletic frame, I'm 5'3" and I am shooting for 135-140; however, if I get to 150 and look really healthy then I will do my best to maintain there. This would be a question to ask your doctor since they can also say if you are healthy. When I was 190 my doctor…

I will be tracking them in the Cardio section. Creating a new exercise for them and since I have a bodybugg I will be inputting the cals burned. I think is weird that MFP doesn't count the strength training in your exercise...I mean exercise is exercise and it should be counted so I only use the cardio section. I just…

I am all about the dance and booty shakin!! Set to shuffle but all very hot! Club Can't Handle Me - Flo Rida Evacuate the Dancefloor - Cascada Get Outta My Way - Kylie Minogue On the Floor - J. Oh yeah.....YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!! Congrats good job!!

I like the Amplified Wheybolic Ext 60 in Chocolate & Vanilla from GNC. I only use one scoop (serving size is 3) with a cup (8oz) of Almond Milk and sometimes PB2 or pureed fruit....SOO YUMMY. Really easy to use too, no clumping and work great in a shaker verses having to use a mini or full size blender. They have different…

I haven't checked out your diary but I think you may be putting to much into keeping your diet at 1200 cal per day. I have found that your amout of intake cals should only have a difference of 500-1000 cals to what you have burned that day. If you are burning 2500 cal per day then your food intake should be 1500-2000 cals…

You could always take it one step further than the HRM to investing in a bodybugg. I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine, best weight loss journey investment EVER! I invested in mine a month into my journey and found out that a 1200 cal diet was starving my body so I lost no weight. Once I balance my intake v output to stay at a 500-1000…

THANKS!!!! Trying to stay as natural as possible.

I feel your pain!!! When I started this journey I was a smoker then I had a breast reduction and my plastic surgeon advised that I quit so I would heal better. Then my migrains increased from withdrawls which promted a trip to the DR where he suggested upping the fiber. SO since then I have done everything I could to do…

Thank you for the suggestions. I drink water all day, it is the only fluid I intake with the exception of the occasional diet no cal soda. When I started this journey I cut out all fluids and just recently reintroduced them. I would prefer to stay away from any of the laxative or artificial ways to get a bowel movement,…

Thanks for the advise. I am supplementing fiber by using benefiber and metamuciln 3 times a day and as for water that is all I drink. I usually hit that 12 8oz mark before noon by then I stop tracking the water. I will get some flaxseed to add into my cottage cheese and protein shakes. Thanks again!!

Feel free to add me. I am an Army vet too and now an Army wife, mom, full time student, and work for the Department of the Army. This is an AWESOME place to be everyone is very encouraging.

Well done and AMAZING job!!!! You look fantasic and I'm sure you feel better. Keep up the AMAZING WORK!

The point to drinking at least 8 glasses of water each day is to keep the metabolism working, cleansing your system, and staying hydrated. I have also found that drinking ICE cold water during a workout session increases the number of calories I burn. I am not a scientist or doctor but there are plenty of studies out there…

I do the straw thing and a 32oz water bottle of water on my desk so I drink 3-4 of those during the day. I have also cut out all other fluids which I know can be hard. I completely agree with the larger bottle trick that way it doesn't feel like 8-10 glasses just one bottle for the day.

Oh also are you just monitoring your weight or are you taping yourself too? You may be firming/toning without losing. I have lost 25lbs since Jan and I am STILL in the same size jeans though they fit differently.

That is very interesting! Do you have an athletic body frame? That is what I have and have no intentions of ever being that skinny 135lbs person that nutrition sites say I should be. I have always had that athletic frame, I did 8.5 yrs in the military and only one time out of those years did I not have to be weighed/taped…

What type of exercises are you doing? Whatever you are doing change it up! If you are doing all cardio try adding weight training. If you workout for 30 mins everyday try one day at 30 mins then the next at 40 mins. Next thing you should look at is your food intake verse your cals burned, that difference should range…

How often are you weighing in? In my opinion, you should only weigh yourself once a week. Make it the same day and about the same time of the day. This way you can get a more accurate weight loss or gain. I weigh in every Sat right after I wake and bathroom, I then take measurements. This is another thing you may try doing…

I would look at your diet like everyone has suggested. When I started TF, I was in the same boat you are. I was eating a 1200 cal per day diet (hard to do by the way), TF plus all of my daily activities and lost nothing in that first month. Then I got a bodybugg and found out that I was accidentally starving myself and my…

If you are just looking for something to tell you how many calories you are burning everyone is right a chest strap HRM is the best thing. If you able to invest in a bodybugg which is worn on the tricep of the left arm then that many be a better option for you. A bodybugg (or similar equipt) is a bit more expensive but it…

I got a breast reduction and it has been the best thing EVER! One thing to remember is that if you find a good doctor they know that they can not take a BB gal from a H/I cup size to an A, they are realistic. I was a G/H and now I am a full C/D. It really takes the weight off and makes exercise easier. Good luck to all you…

The system here does calcuate based on the information you have entered to set up your profile when it comes to what you burn during an exercise. As for the machines if they are public machines then they can be off same with this system. My suggestion is investing in a HRM or Bodybugg type of equipment. I have a bodybugg…

Look into some strength training (bicep curls, dips, tricep exercises to start). When I was in the military these exercises help a lot. Good luck!

I LOVE Turbo Fire! It is super intense cardio but gives you options if you are not really coordinated or have previous injuries (feet, knees, hips, ankles). I am looking to get Chalean Extreme next. A friend said it is more weight training but the same Charlean, so if you have done any of her other programs there is a good…
