  • I have always heard soft tacos are the healthiest option. I find if they have good quality meat, then you don't need all of the toppings. I like meat, salsa, guacamole and sometimes lettuce. Tacos also automatically helps to cap the portion size. I do think fajitas are healthy but then you do have to control portions.
  • I feel the same way about water. It goes down much better & faster if flavored with herbal tea (made from anything but the tea plant), or a small splash of fruit juice or a squeeze of lemon, orange or lime. I don't use any added sugar or artificial sweeteners. I don't think it is necessary or good for me.
  • It is hard, but no one can really tell you what to do. You kind of have to decide for yourself & when you are ready, you will turn on the switch & go, But I am very similar to you in that I am goal driven.   • I highly recommend going to Fleet Feet & getting fitted. No they are not cheap, but once I got fitted, I have bought (now on my 4th pair) my replacement pairs on ebay & saved lots of money!
