• I depends on what you eat. I very happily eat chinese every now and then cause I love it. Usually it adds up to about 400 cal for a pretty decent serving. I know white rice isn't the best and the sodium is usually an issue but I'm just not willng to feel like I can't eat "normal" (as in what others are eating, going out, a…
• Cal-1,730 Carbs-195 Fat-58 Protein-108 My Protein is much higher then most other peoples...hmmm.
• 5113 + 41= 5154
• I've heard overeaters anonymous is really helpful for binge eating! They chapters all over the US (and may other places). I would really look into that. www.oa.org Good luck!
• Thanks so much everyone! I will have to find a "before" pic and take a current one soon. I see the number on the scale every week and I know all of my clothes are too big at this point but I don't think I'm SEEING it as much as everyone else is! I 'm really not doing anything special either....just working out (mostly…
• The same thing happened to be last week when I did my 1st session with a personal trainer. Omg, did I hurt...could hard walk myself to the bathroom and back...not to mention the pain of just trying to sit down and get back up! lol I was also told protein helps and stretching.
•
quote I'm one of those people that will never "like" exercising. Doesn't mean I won't do it (I have had relatively strict exercise regimens in the past) but I hate every minute of it. I'm convinced I'm naturally lazy.
quote I REALLY feel ya there! I hate exercising too! Sometimes I feel better after doing…
• She did say she spends 3-5 hours (omg!) in the gym a day! I can burn about 600 in an hour...that could be right.
• Why not just have a "real" burger made with extra lean ground beef? It's easy to have a burger under 400 calories!
• I never count ketchup or mustard. I wouldn't have even thought of counting gum, mints, or even those 5cal crystal lights...although I don't have them that often.
• I definitely did for the 1st couple months. Now it's slowing down quite a bit. Enjoy it while you can!
• That's AWESOME! I wish I had that willpower! Good job!
• You're SO NOT ALONE! After beer, burgers, brats, cookies, and a few pina colatas (sp?), I think it's safe to say I did NOT do well this weekend!

• I have that problem too!. It is really annoying! It seems trivial but it sure drives you crazy when you're stuck in the car for an hour with it scratching you!
• I saw a program on this on TV one time. There must be something to it because all the people were 30-40 under weight. There looked like VERY sick anorexics. On lady was like 86 lbs and had to be hospitalized. It was scary to see.
• I use the Wishbone Light Ranch....it has 2gr of fat per serving, which is one of the lowest I've found! Watch out because some "light" ranch dressings will still have 7-10 gr of fat per serving!!
• I have question, for whoever wants to answer....Everyone talks about this being a lifestyle change and not just a passing fad, which I totally agree. It just doesn't make sense to me to totally give up wine and drinking in general if that's not something you can see yourself doing FOREVER. I don't drink a lot maybe 1-2…
• I had quite the day too! Between having a mother, a M-I-L and being a mother myself there was a HUGE brunch (with mimosa's) and a dinner out! And yes, guilt-wise and body-wise I do feel like crap today! We all have our days, right?
• Omg, this is how I've been feeling every day lately! My husband says I obsess too much but I've been there/done that and I can't do it all over again! I am NOT going to look back two years from now and say "if you just stuck with it you'd be skinny now" ever again either!
• That's a really great story! I'm glad you inspired your daughters to live a healthier life! SInce I've started I've gotten my MOM to start and my sister, a cousin, and a close friend! It's great to see what a little motivation can do for people! Keep up the great work! You never know who's life you'll change! :flowerforyou:
• I also seem to burn about 10 calories every minute I am exercising...so that doesn't sound impossible. I guess I would go wil the HRM that should be more accurate the what's on MFP. I'm no expert though.
• I also had really bad periods on a Copper IUD. I had it for 5 years because I was too nervous to try anything else. I am on YAZ now and even though I have to remember to take a pill everyday it's 100 times better then the copper IUD was TOM wise! That's just my experience though.
• Great job! I second the water in the morning! I've usually had 40oz by lunch time! Keep up the great work!
• I find this hard to figure out too because 3/4 of penne pasta isn't going to be much, with it being a "tubelike" pasta and all. If you're really second guessing yourself you could also look at how many serving are in a box (usually 8), get out the measuring cup and do some investigating....it probably sounds a little…
• I had that same "problem" when I went to get a new pair of jeans last weekend! It was so much fun!
• I wish you all the best! It's not always easy but it's always worth it! Kind of like MARRIAGE sometimes! Come on here often! It's so helpful to get support and advice here! Look through the success stories too! That ALWAYS motivates me!
• Hopefully you take this positively, I certainly mean no offense....You seriously look like you could be the teenage daughter of the old you! You look fabulous and SO young!!
• I wanted to add my BEAN POLE of a brother also wears a size 30 jeans! That's a GREAT accomplishment!
• Hi Jen! Welcome to MFP! I did about the same thing you were describing! About 2 years ago I lost about 30 pounds and then slowly watched it all creep back on. I was so mad at myself! In the last 3 1/2 months I have gotten that weight back off and hope to continue and finally, once and for all, reach my goal weight! I wish…
• Fantastic! Congrats! I'm going to lose my mind when that day comes for me. can't wait! Keep up the great work!
