hard boiled eggs. Low calorie and filling.

I would add THE ENVIRONMENTALIST. I mostly went vegetarian to reduce my impact on the environment with a little bit of the other three mixed in.
-
I don't know about a heathy typical diet, but being a vegetarian has definitely saved me a lot of money. Meat is expensive, beans are super cheap.

Finished Level 2 Day 16 this morning! I'm more than halfway through. It's amazing how each level feel so impossible at first but then after 5 days it's so much better. The one thing I hate about level 2 though, is doing the plank twists at the very end after all of that shoulder work! My abs have no problem doing the…

I had to start eating a little bit more when I started the 30DS in order to have the energy to get through it. I was netting around 1400, but I'm up around 1600 or more now. That helps. I also did not notice a huge boost in endurance, but rest days every 5 days have definitely made it more manageable for me.

Wow, another one? I'm looking forward to going back to my daily yoga when the shred is over. I think I'll do it again in a few months or do one of the levels once a week or something.
-
I usually do just the Shred every day, but sometimes I go for a walk in the evening or do some light yoga later in the day. On weekends I do a distance walk in addition to the shred (~8 miles). After doing the shred, I usually don't have enough energy to do anything else, and it gets my heart rate up higher than any other…

I was putting it in as 20 mins of circuit training, which seems somewhat accurate. Then I found a calculator online that gave me an estimate and I used that to create my own exercise in MFP. I can't remember where I found the calculator, but I just googled "calories burned during 30 Day Shred" and there were a couple to…

L2D12 done. Level 2 is definitely much harder than Level 1, but I can't help but be glad that it makes me work hard. I can do a real pushup now!
-
Yes, I haven't binged since I started MFP. I stop eating when I'm full. I remind myself that the next bite won't taste better than the first one.
-
I use 3 lbs, and it's really hard for me! My upper body strength is my biggest weakness. If I do the shred again I might try 5 lbs.
-
Just finished Level 1 Day 10, starting Level 2 tomorrow. So far I never felt any stronger as I did multiple days of Level 1, but today I finally feel stronger and was able to do Level 1 without sweating so much and taking a ton of breaks. So far I've lost about 4 lbs since starting the shred. I doubt I'll lose 4 lbs every…

Finished Level 1 Day 9. Still not getting any easier.... I can see more definition in my arms, but I don't feel any stronger. I guess I just need to be patient.
-
Yep, this. I've lost every week on my glass-of-wine-a-day program.

Finished Level 1 Day 8 this morning. Before the shred I was just doing yoga in the mornings and walking a couple miles a few days a week. My calories are set at 1550 a day. Ever since I started the shred, I am so hungry all the time! Anyone else have this problem? I'm seriously considering temporarily upping my calories,…

Just finished Level 1 Day 7 today, and I'm so nervous for Level 2! I'm afraid I won't be able to get through it. I still can't get through all of the Level 1 video without taking a 5 second break at least once.
-
I think some people do it straight through, personally, I'm taking a rest day every 5 days to let my muscles recover.
-
I use 3 lb dumbells. It sounds low compared to everyone else, but it still burns!
-
I was supposed to do L1 Day 6 yesterday and I didn't because I accidentally walked 10 miles at the park. That's a decent excuse, right? Did it this morning, STILL can't do a real pushup and the pushups from the knee are brutal. When do pushups get easier?
-
You were right! The pain magically disappeared on Day 3. Does Level 1 actually get easier before you have to move onto Level 2?
-
I'm 5'8", I can't remember the why the doctor gave, other than my body needs at least 1500 just to maintain it's various processes.
-
My physician said the same thing, she told me it would be unhealthy to eat less than 1500.
-
Thanks! I won't give up!
-
Just finished day 2. I am so sore! Mostly my arms because that's my weak spot. I can't do Level 1 without taking any 5-second breaks, I'm hoping by the 10th day of Level 1 I can do it straight through.
-
I'm sort of behind the times, but I just finished Day 2 of Level 1. I did not hurt at all yesterday, but today I'm so sore! I thought I was in decent shape, but now I know better. I have exercise asthma and I have to use my rescue inhaler every single time I do this video.

Whole wheat pasta, brown rice etc. They're much more filling and better carbs than regular pasta.

I just started the 30DS this morning. It was pretty difficult. The cardio was really hard to keep up with during the first circuit, but by the 3rd circuit it felt much easier. Anyone else have this experience?
-
I just started it today, I could use an accountability buddy as well. I'm planning on taking a rest day every 5 days.
-
Drink A LOT of water. Water helps flush out the infection just as well with 0 calories. Last time I started to feel a UTI coming on I drank a whole lot of water and the next morning it was gone.
-
I'm pretty proud of what I eat. I stick to around 1500 a day, and I eat back exercise calories most of the time. I honestly haven't really changed my diet at all to lose weight, just decreased the quantity.
