  • The only way I've ever been able to lose weight consistently, for more than a week at a time, is to diet for 2 days then off for 1. So I eat 1200-1300 calories (more if I exercise and never less) for 2 days then I eat 1800-2000 calories for a day then back to the 1200-1300 calories. With exercise I've found this works for…
  • I want to join! I can't officially start just yet, waiting to confirm a miscarriage first, but once we confirm it I'm planning on really getting into gear! I want to lose 20lbs by mid-April when we will start trying to conceive again. I've been on many hormonal drugs and other infertility meds that caused me to gain 15lbs…
  • BTW, I just wanted to add that I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad for their feelings on the matter. I'm sure most of you who feel that way have not been through over a year of trying to conceive and multiple losses as I have and I definitely understand what a baby does to the body and how discouraging it can make you…
  • Thank you! TDEE - 2200 (same as my last measurement) BMR - 1600 I've seen the group before but anytime I went over so many calories I would gain. How quick do you lose using that method? My other problem is that I can only diet for 2 more months then I have to quit, whether or not I've reached my goal. I have been trying…
  • What better reason to lose weight than to pass that health onto such a special little being! Who cares if I gain every single pound back, at least I know that I was as healthy as could be. Sure I dislike that I may have to go through all this again but it will not have any affect on my urge to have another child. I gained…
  • Thanks for the encouragement! I have wondered if gaining muscles has had something to do with it. I don't measure because I can get drastically different measurements just my moving the tape up or down my arm a half inch, just doesn't seem accurate to me, lol. I definitely felt a difference the first week, and think I'm…
  • Quote from previous thread. I do see results from this alone. When I only watch my diet/calories I don't gain or lose. When I do 30ds I lose about 1lb every 2 days and keep it off. I sometimes do about 10-20 mins of pilates afterwards but that's more for toning, I really don't notice a difference between the days I do 30ds…
  • Started mine today until DD peed in her pants... Of course DH was NOWHERE to be found. Oh well, I pushed myself extra hard yesterday and I'm not sure I would have been able to finish today anyway I'm so sore, especially my abs. It feels great though!
  • I am so jealous of all those ladies who actually LOST weight after giving birth. I got weighed one week after giving birth and I was 5 lbs heavier than my last weight while pregnant! They told me it was water weight but a year later I was only 10lbs less than that! I'm happy to say that I got sick of that, especially…
  • I felt wonderful after my workout yesterday for the first time. It was an amazing feeling! Even throughout the program I felt stronger, even push-ups are finally starting to almost get there for me. I just feel wonderful!
  • If you really want to get rid of your stomach you may need to try to work your transverse. Look it up you can find some wonderful exercises for it. One example of an exercise for it is a reverse crunch.
  • Fiber One Brownies! I also like a can of tuna, plain with nothing else, and steamed broccoli and cauliflower. Pretty much anything that fits what I'm lacking so far in the day and is under 100 calories, sometimes I go as high as 120 for something special.
  • Hey, we have very similar stats. Hopefully I can look as good as you soon!
  • I had the same problem! I tried it one day and couldn't even get my butt off the couch without screaming in agony for 2 days after that! The next time I tried it, about a month later lol, I was pleasantly surprised that I barely hurt at all the next day. There is no way I could have done it the day after the first day but…
  • Can I join? I know I'm probably a little late here but I've been working on the 30 day shred and it makes me feel AMAZING! I follow it up with 10 mins of pilates when I can too. Just need to note that I am a full time student, full time mom, and I work a mostly full time job so I do not do this every day as you are…
  • I got sick on Atkins too, both times I tried it so I know it was because of the diet. There is something seriously wrong with that diet! BTW, my most lost per week was 5lb. I do want to make a note that I know it wasn't water weight because at the time I tested twice daily at the same time every day, once before I ate…
  • I have some pretty heft goals but I've found that if I set my goals high I at least achieve SOMETHING, lol. We will start TTC again after Lupron and one month of birth control the second week of August. I do not diet while TTC so I'm planning on losing everything by August 1 so that I can be healthy for my baby! Anyway so…
  • Ignoring all of the immature comments... This detox is cheaper than feeding myself for those 10 days. I'm not buying it from anywhere, it's just lemons water and cayenne then sea salt and water once a day, I make it all myself. We eat nearly all fruits and veggies, especially in homemade juices and shakes, but I think at…
  • We've really gotten into juicing at our house. Only problem I've run into is my 2 year old isn't a huge fan of it
  • Add me to the group please!
  • Hi ladies, would you guys look at my test? I really think it might be positive! There's definitely a line and I'm just about certain it's pink! http://community.babycenter.com/photos/smorescookie/21766069 If you guys don't mind I would still like to stick around here for a couple weeks even if this is real. I've had 3…
  • The folic acid is the most important part of the vitamin for pregnancy, but there are a lot more nutrients in a pre-natal than just folic acid. Prenatals are fairly cheap so I would just advise you to just go pick up some prenatals, not just the folic acid, from the store, or if your insurance will cover them then have the…
  • Hi, I checked in earlier but I went out to buy some new clothes today since I've lost so much weight and I just wanted to share my experience. A little background, I weighed in the 160's during high school, lost a bit and was down to 145 pre-pregnancy, I was at my smallest size before I got pregnant. When I got pregnant…
  • Last week - 172.4 This week - 169.2 Lost - 3.2 lbs YAY!! I doubt I will lose that much every week but if I could even lose 2lbs or so per week I will reach my goal!
  • 5dpo today, 4 more days before I allow myself to start testing. I lost 2 lbs this morning!! Yay! I'm well on my way to making my goal this time!
  • Either way I hope you get what you want and what's best for you. Remember that it's only 9 months, then you can start your weight loss efforts right back up again! Where are you at in your cycle?
  • LMAO!!! I know! I keep telling DH that we need some friends, we always just hang out with each other, my brother's wife, or my parents. At least my brother and his wife are in the same age range as DH and I, but my brother and I have never been close so it's a little more awkward when he is around. And now my SIL is…
  • Those are ok to post cause they look too good to eat!
