Protein powder is pretty damn convenient, and is cheap when the quality of protein is taken into consideration, i think it's a good idea, but beware of some brands, they do not mix well and taste like horse crap, I personally recommend the optimum nutrition gold standard vanilla ice cream flavor

Thanks for the advice all, my calves actually started to hurt not so long ago which was a bit of a concern for me, definitely gonna give myself a rest

I'm pretty sure i don't burn that much as well, unless my heart rate is accurately measured, there is no real way to know, and I usually give it my all, I'm pretty sure those "crap minutes" don't exist in my workout, like i said, i don't feel like it's having a negative effect on me or my workouts

I'm not a picky eater so i can't say for sure, but perhaps you could resort to supplementation if you can't stand veggies, not even sure if that possible to be quite honest, you can do your research though
