lose the carbs >20g. day 3 you ll drink a river dry and then a day of "wellbeing" follows but like mentioned above it can take up to a month to be able to train with the same intensity and settle into things. no use sat on the fence half in half out dipping a keto stick !!!

personally... i stay below 20g because if i eat much over i have a horendous craving for carbs that can reach a point shortly before re feed i would like to tear the sweets out my lads hand if i couldnt find other carbs !!! - and there doesnt seem much point to not being in full blown ketosis if you re going to the trouble…

another vote for e cigs... my partner hasnt had a real cig for over a month and hasnt been snappy as is normally the case ! - the only downside is my not having the commitment to stick to it as my diet is strict and the fact i have to sit outside and have a cig or go in the RV... Had to see the doctor today as i was distracted by someone conversing with me as i started a revearse curling heavy set and threw my back out... In the uk... Chose to see a female doctor and used it as an opportunity to mention being in ketosis amongst other things and she responded by saying they might as well test kidney…

I m 20 days in to a very strict keto diet....see my diary. Be warned' ...11 days in I got chest pain and had to carb up and just half an hour ago got them again and just had 30g of crunchy nut to get rid of it again. As for weight loss and ease of managing.. its a fantastic diet I enjoy and the weight loss is rapld....

I d up my protein to recomended amount, cut carbs below 20 and lay off the bad fats and take some of the good olive oil and nut ones... suppliment with omega 3 and primrose oil and a fibre suppliment helps...

Lets get real folks... Anyone his weight and staying there has to be dramatically overeating on a daily basis and if he doesnt like the way society collectively treats him the simple answer is to package and send his daily surplus to a country where kids are lucky to get food on a daily basis... No sympathy what so ever.

how low ? i ve just carbed up after a spell below 20g and have to admit i wish i didnt have to but have none of the symptoms you show and have noted i sleep much better when in keto. sunday was my carb up day and having consumed 400g carbs that day i m still not back in ketosis.

its actually 230g protein 100g fat for a lean mass of 160 and with the weight coming off i ll be reducing it acordingly. All this talk of keto and low carb seems ill thoughtout as low carb (anywhere up to 100g ) is nothing like below 20g and full ketosis and you wont benefit with increased energy and escape the drained…
