Are you weighing your food? Check for accuracy again. If I eat fruit, I eat it early in the morning and that's it. Make sure you are getting healthy fat in your diet as well. If you clothes are fitting differently, you are building muscle and lowering your body fat. Those are great things. I judge a lot by the way my…

If you like spaghetti, try spaghetti squash. It's way lower in carbs than pasta and I seriously can't taste the difference. And for breads, I use mission carb balanced tortilla shells.

If I ate whatever I wanted at 1,200 cal, I wouldn't get much food and I would be hungry and probably eat the kitchen. If you 1,200 cal of healthy food you will a lot more food and be satisfied. Probably wouldn't eat the kitchen. And you would probably feel better. Since I've made the life style change, I can't eat…

If you are talking about a wrap or something you wear, that is not going to work. Being fit is not easy, if it were everyone would be fit. There is no magic pill either. It is consistent hard work, monitoring your food intake and what you eat that gets you where you want to be. I have had several people try to sell me body…

No you can't spot reduce. But you can tone the areas to reduce them. Still my legs are big for me. My jeans are always snug on my legs but big on my waist. However my legs are strong and getting defined. I'm happy with toned and tight fitting vs flabby and loose fitting.

push the water... I never eat fruit (don't want the added sugar) and rarely eat vegetables (if I do its sweet potatoes).

I would go with what the trainer says. Mine has never been wrong when he told me I wasn't eating enough. There are so many people that think they know everything. And I had great success this past year. I listened to everything he said. Even when I didn't think it was right, but never mislead me. Just saying

YES! My trainer had upped my calories so many times the first six months of my journey. I kept thinking, there is no way this is correct. But every time, I would lose. You have to feed your body to fuel it. It also depends on the actives you are doing. I always went with what my trainer said, and he never steered me wrong.

That is a struggle for me too. I love chocolate cake  One thing I found is if I keep a bag of Dove's dark chocolate candies in the fridge, and everyone else is having that great dessert; I get a piece of candy and let it melt in my mouth. Then I don't feel deprived so much. And if that doesn't help, I plan to have…

Have you just started the exercise plan? Have you measured yourself with a tape measure instead of scale? Are you clothes fitting differently? If you are only eating 1200 calories, I would say you aren't eating enough. Make sure you getting the correct protein and carb and fat balance. I'm going to say this and everyone is…

We all have started and stopped, but I think the thing that hit me the most this time was. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. And also losing the same 10 pounds over and over. I really started to see the results in my efforts and this time, I didn't want to go back. That is my motivation! It is no longer a diet…

I drink my protein shake with water. That has helped cut down the bloated feeling.

I get up at 3 am to get to the class at 4am. There are day that I just want to turn over and go back to sleep, but I know the 4 am class has the best instructors, coaches, and we hold everyone accountable. It sucks seeing a post and photo and you aren't in cuz you were sleeping. Its a commitment that I want to keep up for…

What???? You burn calories all day when you lift. The more muscle you have to more you burn.

I do kick boxing 3 days a week, resistance bands 2 days a week. Kickboxing and bands on Saturday. Take Sundays off. It has taken me so long to understand the importance of eating healthy. But I finally get it! I really need to take a picture as of now. I feel its even better. I just keep believing in myself and…

The first picture was taken 1-11-15 the after picture was 12-15-15. Down 22 lbs, 16 inches and 15% body fat

Back to the OP they are more than likely on disability. And when there is a significant other they seem to be there all the time and they all move closer to the doctor, so I have wondered the same thing.

alcohol does slow down your metabolism.

mine was doing the same thing yesterday. It just kept trying to sync.

I wouldn't believe anything Dr. OZ says.

My motivation is myself first. If I'm not healthy, happy, have a positive outlook; I can't be much good to anyone else. I do Kickboxing at 4 am with some awesome people. I started that over a year ago, those women hold me accountable. If I don't show up, I get a text saying "we missed you this AM" or get called out on FB…

Just keep doing what you are doing. I still think you are doing a great job! Some people just don't like to see people succeed. And I have. I'm in the best shape of my life. I have everything to prove it. Soon I will be teaching some of the classes I go to. They just don't know how much I train nor what I put in my body.…

My information comes from a Professional and it is accurate. And I have gained 4 lbs of muscle in over a 5 week time frame. I'm not eating deficit, I never said I was and didn't see where the gal was either. I eat over 1400 calories a day. Never deprived. I work with the best coaches and instructor I know. I've been going…

Guess I don't know much but I have lost 18 lbs 16% body fat and over 15 inches over all. This last 5 weeks I've gained 4 lbs of muscle. Hmmmm guess I've done something right!
-
Could possibly be you are gaining muscle, hence muscle weighs more than fat. If you have lost 8 lbs since new years, be proud of what you have done. And another question would be, how are your clothes fitting? I don't always use a scale to measure my losses. I use clothes, because I know that changing body fat to muscle is…

It's not a lazy way of getting protein. I do a protein shake every morning before working out. It helps to be build back the muscles you tear down. You want to get a good protein whey powder. Not one that is full of fillers.
-
It doesn't look to me like you are eating enough. I don't see much protein in what you are showing here. If this was me, I couldn't stick to it.
-
It all depends on what you are doing. My weight hasn't changed much. When I weighed in this morning I had lost 3 lbs, when down 3% body fat, but gained 4 lbs in muscle mass. Maybe you aren't eating enough and your body is holding on to what it has. Or you are changing fat into muscle. You need to ask yourself these things,…

The best workout for your abs is to keep your core tight when doing any and all exercises. You can do sit ups and crunches until the cows come home. But when its all said and done, planking is a very good way to tone all of your core. Here is the saying, "When in doubt, plank it out!"

Donkey kicks, leg lifts or fire hydrants with a figure 8 band will work the glutes real well.
