Because the OHP is the bane of my existence and because I sometimes struggle just to increase my lift by a measly 5 lbs, hell yes I use the squat rack. I am actually using the pegs and it is assisting me in the lift as opposed to curls. I am not about to clean and jerk it up and expell that energy that I could use to…

Well, working your lower body increases testosterone (it is science) so in that aspect, I agree.

I can totally relate. I binge when I am stressed out. It is how I cope unfortunately. Other people may drink or do drugs. I do lines of Oreos. While I don't really have a solution for you, I just wanted you to know you aren't alone.

It really depends on how much you need to lose. A 15 pound loss on a thin person is very noticeable compared to someone who is morbidly obese. Personally, I had a good 80 pounds I needed to lose and after about 25 lbs down, people start noticing. I am also tall so that also makes a difference.

Look into convict conditioning and you are your own gym

You look 20 years younger! Great job!

Oh I am sorry OP that you dealt with this moron. To tell ED patients to basically starve yourself is well...asinine! You are not overweight. I would not try to lose weight but concentrate on becoming more fit. You are at a perfectly healthy weight. If you wanted to do a recomp., that would be fine. To recommend an…

This is interesting. I read that to make one ounce of milk, most women need an extra 20-30 calories. If you are feeding a baby full time and they haven't started eating solids yet, the average intake is 24 ounces per day. So if this is correct, you would need any where from 480-720 extra calories a day! When my baby…

yep.....anything that I have thrown up before is on my no-no list including cheese and pepper papusas, masa, anything with green spicy peppers baked inside (like in the papusa or say pepper jack cheese) and now pulled pork. Dang you stomach flu!

Noted....thank you!

I like setting it at sedentary and then adding in exercise as I go, which will aslo give you more calories as needed.

Add me!!!!

I'm curious about the squeem....my aunt (does IFBB physique) wears one and told me I should after I had my baby...why so dangerous?

I always get a grilled chicken sandwich if I have to grab something quick and didn't plan.

So, at the slight chance that this post is more than just trolling, many people diet up and down for say "bodybuilding". For instance, women's body building has really died down and most of the big ladies are dieting down to compete in physique (think Iris Kyle v. Dana Linn Bailey). I would say that they are eating at a…

Without any health issues, there is nothing wrong with 2500 mg sodium intake. 1000-1500 mgs a day is ridiculously low for most people.

I know several people who have had either a bypass or the band who gained back everything they lost. I think that it can be a wonderful tool for the right person but if you are eating for emotional reasons or unwilling to change your eating habits, it isn't going to change anything. My aunt lost tons of weight and even had…

I think that as long as you are eating enough protein and calories, you are good.

I just bought the BB program and adjustable dumbbells today off of Amazon...can't wait till I get them! I have been lifting weights for years now but I need to try something I can do at home so I hope this is up my alley!
-
Well this has been a huge struggle for me. I am home alone with a baby and toddler so finding time to go to the gym is really hard. I work full time and I commute so I refuse to drag them to the gym childcare after they've been away from me all day in daycare. My solution (I hope) was just ordered on Amazon today. I got…

jett, from what I understand this program is a basic progressive weight lifting program that concentrates on heavy lifting. It's based on the principals of Joe Weider. P90x mixes other things in the program like yoga, flexibility, pylometrics, cardio, etc.
-
They have bowflex adjustable weights and the base BB program on sale on amazon right now....I got the ones that adjust to 90 pounds!!! I saved over $243.......I'm so excited!!!
-
Out of curiosity, what equipment did yo buy for the program? Did you need adjustable weights? A bench? I am excited for this program!

You know what cracks me up? People who will eat fruit because it is "natural sugar" instead of a say, a donut. Here's a tip: a donut actually has less sugar than a BANANA! Yes, it is true. And here's another thing, your body doesn't know the difference. Sugar is sugar. So eat the damn donut if you want to.

If I had room for a squat rack in my home, I would never leave

Please read what OP is actually eating per day (1010 calories!!!) coupled with that she is nursing. She does not need diet pills!!!
-
You should be eating way more while nursing!!!! SMH!
-
It is normal to feel that way when nursing. In fact, I actually started gaining weight while nursing because I felt like I was starving all the time. Snack on high volume food. BTW-when I stopped nursing, my weight started falling off. It is also hormonal. It has been that way for me for each baby. These ladies who lose…

YES! And then you can also pee out 10 pounds the next week.....unless you are eating 5,000 calories OVER you maintenance calories a day, it is water.

Watch Bigger, Faster, Stronger. I thought it was very interesting and it gave me a different opinion about steriods. I have a few family members who compete in BB. Pretty much MOST people in the IFBB or NPC are doing cycles or at least pro-hormones that convert once ingested. You cannot look like Ronny Coleman or Dana Linn…
