Thank you all for the input. This is the email I got from my doctor and this is the first time cholesterol has ever been an issue for me and I have anxiety about having a heart attack, so I really wanted to face the problem head-on: Ten Natural Ways to Lower Your Cholesterol 1. Increase your exercise program to five or six…

Hi Kim. Thank you so much for your feedback! My logging is definitely a rough start. I think in the last week, I ate 3 meals out and one was the Thai tofu bowl because I couldn't find the restaurant on MFP. This is the email I got from my doctor: Ten Natural Ways to Lower Your Cholesterol 1. Increase your exercise program…

Not sure how you feel about tea, but a grande Earl Grey Tea Latte is only 150 calories.

- greek yogurt - protein shakes - nuts (almonds, cashews, or pistachios) - string cheese

You look amazing, Kelly! Such an inspiration!

I eat back most if not all of my exercise calories. I think I average around 1,500 calories today, but I usually burn 300, making my net almost exactly 1,200. I've been doing it this way since starting MFP in April and I've lost 33 pounds on MFP, 40 total since January.

I was 221 pounds in January. Also 25 years old. As of my last weigh-in (last Friday), I'm 182, so almost 40 pounds lost this year! I've also been big my whole life, not sure what I weighed in elementary school since I avoided scales, but the lowest I remember being is 180 in my sophomore year. I was raised by my dad who…

I'm in! I've only been able to do a week at a time in the past, so I'm going to try to stick to the full 30 days this time! I only own 2lb weights, wondering if I should buy 3 or 5lb?
-
13 pounds. My goal from January was to lose 50 pounds this year and I'm 13 away. :)

I eat pretty much whatever I want on the weekends and don't usually stay within my calorie goals. With that being said, I'm still averaging a 1 pound loss per week.

Not sure if you have these where you're at, but I go to Sport's Authority for exercise clothes. I usually buy Under Armour or Nike and they sometimes have 20-50% off sales.

You look amazing! By the way, how tall are you? I'm surprised that you're 207 pounds and a size 10. You definitely don't look 207 pounds!

I stick with monitoring calories and I make sure to go over my protein every day (I just feel better when I do). I'd like to eat less carbs, but if I go over, I'm not that concerned. I'm over my sugar consistently.

Yesterday was my one year without soda, including diet soda! I gave it up because I had a problem sticking to consuming it in moderation. I was drinking 4-5 cans/day. I had stains on my teeth and constantly felt bloated. Plus, I wasn't drinking any water because I was using Diet Coke to "hydrate." I did also notice…

I eat Smart Ones about 3-4 days per week for lunch. I've lost 29 pounds total since January. I'm trying to eat them less often because of the sodium (as others have mentioned), but they're so convenient and help me stay within my calorie goals.

Congrats! Your story is really inspiring and you look gorgeous!

I haven't had soda since July 16, 2012. I'm almost to my one year! I still have tea, which contains caffeine. You can do it! The first month was really hard for me, but now I don't even crave it.
